Superbly crafted I was introduced to computers during the Radio Shack heyday. I'm 1992 I started my degree in electronics. I learned to use MS DOS upon which Windows is based. This book was a trip down memory lane and is still necessary to fully comprehend how to understand Windows from a non graphical standpoint. The best utility I bought this book several years ago, but never finished reading it. It's one of the best utilities on command line, what it is and how it works. I have to read over and over to master the xommands. The best utility I bought this book several years ago, but never finished reading it. Good, thorough intro to cmd line Good intro to cmd line. Found chapter 13 the most useful, but gives solid examples throughout. Easy to understand and follow?

A very basic introduction to Windows Command Prompt. Perhaps too basic.

the book left a lot to be desired and left me wanting. Some.aspects are covered well though. You would need to look around on internet even after you have this book handy with you. overall it was an alright experience for me. I think the book is for novice/ people very new to windows and not beginners. These days a lot of people know stuff already listed. I might be wrong on this assumption though.

This book is bad. This is a bad collection of bad commands to use in the bad terminal of the bad operating system known as windows. Why did I buy this? I mean I suppose it does what it says it will.
