Interesting Collection of Home Recipes This was an interesting cookbook for me as a ex Brit having lived in the USA for more than 30 years now. These recipes aren't typically the sort of sweets that I generally either make or eat but they do have many of the flavor profiles and use ingredients that I do enjoy in baked goods...dates, figs, cinnamon, poppy seeds, nuts, etc....and these recipes also don't appear to be of the overly sweet variety .....so I might be tempted to try out a couple of the Interesting Collection of Home Recipes This was an interesting cookbook for me as a ex Brit having lived in the USA for more than 30 years now. My 3 star review is based more on the number of recipes that actually appeal to me rather than the quality of the cookbook as I am sure for many others this rating maybe much higher. I was happy to pick this up as a freebie on Amazon . It is a nice home-recipes styled book with straightforward instructions and there are some helpful photos included also. Recipes that I want to try: Borekas ( cheese stuffed puff pastry) Olive and Cheese Rolls Poppy Seed Cake Apple Jam Hamantaschen ( three cornered cookie filled with jam, dates, poppy seeds or chocolate) Date and Walnut Pinwheel Cookies Cinnamon Rolls ( syrup glazed not iced - which I prefer) Apple Cake Cinnamon Cake Coconut and Chocolate Cake

Is an interesting cookbook in that with each recipe Orly explained what it was and where in the Jewish Holiday it fell in --- she had pictures of each recipe and they all looked delicious. Particularly liked how most of the recipes had stuff you already had laying about the house! Did jot a couple down and do plant to make!

I love trying new recipes! I have looked for dishes and dessert ideas that are part of a Mediterranean diet. It's healthier and still delicious. Orly Ziv is a nutritionist who shares her family recipes that are all easy to follow and create in the kitchen with typical pantry supplies. I'm looking forward to making just about everything in this book. I love trying new recipes! I have looked for dishes and dessert ideas that are part of a Mediterranean diet. This is actually an excerpt of a whole cookbook. Not much of it either. Lots of recipes that use ingredients I have never heard of nor can easily obtain. Won't be cooking out of this. Love This! I discovered and copied a lot of these fabulous recipes, some being variations to those I get up with. This collection is well written and organized, with colorful photographs.

Everything looks good This book is full of great lookin foods. I am excited to try a lot of these out. I like that the recipes have grams and cups. Most of the ingredients are common kitchen staples. There are a handful of ingredients that I was not familiar with but they should not be too hard to find. I like that each recipe has a little intro about the dish. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest unbiased review. This has not changed my opinions on the book.
