Aaaaaaaaaaah, what a great book. Really liked this. It was funny, sad, cringy at times and sometimes gross. But, couldn't put it down. That's what I call a good book when you can't put it down. Nearly missed my bus for work the other morning I was so engrossed! Aaaaaaaaaaah, what a great book. Really liked this. It was funny, sad, cringy at times and sometimes gross. I know good days come but JOJO moyes kinda rushed it . ...but im happy for them . the story is pretty cute and overall ignoring its flaws the book was good and it was worth the wait thank you.

Really 3.5 stars rather than 3. Sweet, easy holiday read. I enjoyed the plot & subplots which made it a little less predictable. Characters were mostly likeable & some bits were quite entertaining. There were some parts that put me off where I felt the characters were almost a bit too messed up & I didn't always appreciate the writer's style, but overall it was a positive & enjoyable story. Everybody has a big bag of problems in this story….from the very downtrodden to the wealthy. What they DO with those problems and their individual outlooks makes this tale a masterpiece, including the dog Norman. Couldn't put it down. Made me laugh and cry and well worth the time.
