   This story is an informational text good for students to read when learning about farm animals. Each page has a picture of the animal and facts to go along with it. There is some information in this book that I would not have known to tell my students. This book is a good book to use with ESL students when learning the names of animals along with a picture of what they look like. I would use this book in the classroom to do writing. In first grade we learn about different animals and they learn o=how to write to inform. I would have them make a circle map and write the name of their chosen animal in the small bubble in the center. Then in the large circle around it I would have them write the details of things that go along with that animal. I would then have them do an informational writing that talks about the animal and gives information that could help them teach their classmates about their chosen animal. This will really help them with their informational writing and this book is a good one to give information that they ae able to understand and comprehend. I think it is a great book for first graders.

   This farm animals book is a book about a bunch of different animals. The book gives fun facts about animals and even shows pictures of different animals. This book is a non-fiction book aimed for primary aged students (PreK-3rd grade). I paired this book with Russell the Sheep by Rob Scotton because sheep were mentioned and shown in the farm animal non-fiction book. Both books share pictures of sheep. Therefore, these books have a good correlation due to the information and pictures given about This farm animals book is a book about a bunch of different animals.
