A little different read then I'm used to. Kind of a cross between love story, personal growth for the characters, humor and sadness too. Three adult children get word that both of their parents are dead in bed together the same night of natural cases. Preparing for the funeral they find a stash of letters. Their dad had written a letter to their mother every Wednesday of their marriage. Truths are discovered as the children read the letters. A little different read then I'm used to. Wonderful! Always have enjoyed how the concept that words meshing together will create a beautiful story. This is just such a story -2 actually. They both will make you smile, make you laugh and may even have you tear up. I know I did! Loved this book -and admire the author's talent. Just may try starting a wedding letter notebook for my cousin's granddaughter. Will be reading more of Jason's works.--P/ Wonderful! Letters written by their father to their mother, who both died on the same day, throw Matthew's, Sammie's, and Malcolm's perceptions of their parents off kilter. Wonderful book! Wedding Letters is a great sequel to The Wednesday Letters. I loved getting to know this family and sharing their joys and their sadness.
