    I found this to be quite an inspirational short book. The author treats each person as unique rather than expecting that one method or way of doing things will work for all people. She focuses on quality of meditation and mindfulness over quantity of time spent. Five minutes can be all you need if you really work at it. I really liked this statement "think as an investor, not a consumer". We have to be determined to take care of ourselves since no one else can make us do it. The writing is in a I found this to be quite an inspirational short book. She focuses on quality of meditation and mindfulness over quantity of time spent. Five minutes can be all you need if you really work at it. The writing is in a conversational style, so I almost felt as if the author was sitting in the room with me as I read the book. This is also the first meditation book that I have read that focuses on the five senses. Most of what I have read focuses on breathing by they don't really discuss the other senses. Very nice.     I have always wondered if meditation works, how does it work and do we really benefit from it. I think I wondered because I wasn’t sure how to accomplish that peace with so much going on around me and within me, but this book was an eye opener. Learning we take care of your bodies, but we don’t take care of our minds bringing things into focus and clarity. We all have goals we want to reach but unsure on the how to and the determination to accomplish said goals well meditation may just help reso I have always wondered if meditation works, how does it work and do we really benefit from it. Learning to focus, build your concentration opening you to fell the changes and I believe with practice you can enjoy life at a much slower rate, not always living in the hustle of the world around us.
