Well my son loved it but for an adult it reads like one big Lego advertisement - subtle, but still. An introduction of the major DC superheroes: Superman and Supergirl, Batman and Wonder Woman and their vehicles. Also the Joker and some of Superman's enemies are introduced, including vehicles. Then at the end there is a brief story of the Superheroes uniting to battle with Gorilla Grodd, that's pretty funny, but banal. The book incorporates various media forms (newspaper, Most Wanted website, delivery log) to help break up the descriptions. There is not an overall plot, but there are small stories told through the battles, which keeps the book interesting. It also contains a glossary of words that may be unfamiliar to young readers and a Guide for Parents with tips on helping their child read and understand this book. There is also a short quiz in the back, which is perfect for testing reading comprehension. Overall, a good book.

Aside from oddly shortchanging Wonder Woman a solo featurette, like Superman and Batman got, it's a solid yarn for kiddies. Aside from oddly shortchanging Wonder Woman a solo featurette, like Superman and Batman got, it's a solid yarn for kiddies.
