    I ate a delicious Sri Lankan coconut curry at Mildreds restaurant – I made the same Sri Lankan curry at home! Even though I didn’t follow everything EXACTLY – it was still almost as delicious as the real thing. Hooray!

    This is an absolutely fantastic cookery book, whether or not you are vegetarian. Recipes range around the world, rather than centring on a specific area of the world, just as I like it. This is a world away from the worthy but bland and heavy options delivered by early vegetarian warriors. Instead we have a wealth of tasty flavour bombs, making it hard to know which recipe to start with, with each being succeeded by something just as tempting. If I ever find myself in London post-lockdown I will This is an absolutely fantastic cookery book, whether or not you are vegetarian. Instead we have a wealth of tasty flavour bombs, making it hard to know which recipe to start with, with each being succeeded by something just as tempting. If I ever find myself in London post-lockdown I will certainly make an effort to find the restaurant itself. In the meantime, I can hand on heart say that this is one of the few recipe books inspired by a restaurant which is absolutely worth adding to your bookshelf.
