Moreover, reading these stories at regular intervals can actually help them to develop a positive outlook towards life, which eventually proves beneficial for good character development. The Adventure of Froblicious the Frog is a delightful and charming rhyming picture book for the younger reader (ages 2-6). Author Kelly Santana-Banks writes in a wonderful, simple and imaginative style that will guarantee the attention of young minds. If you ever wanted to bond even more with your children or grandchildren, this would be a lovely story to share with them. It seems to me that this book was created with a lot of love and joy and it’s clear that the author really enjoys creating such wonderful stories. Thank you for sharing with us the gift that you have obviously worked so hard to refine. We’ll be looking forward to seeing what’s coming next. A well-deserved five stars.

I received this book from the author for the purpose of this review. All comments and opinions are entirely my own. In The Adventures of Froblicious the Frog, children are given a wide variety of vocabulary words as well as rhyming words. The story is fun and entertaining and the pictures are very bright and engaging. The story was slightly unrealistic on many accounts; “tripping over a seesaw” without anyone else to offset the frogs weight and the girl taking a bath fully clothed (which I’m grate I received this book from the author for the purpose of this review. The story was slightly unrealistic on many accounts; “tripping over a seesaw” without anyone else to offset the frogs weight and the girl taking a bath fully clothed (which I’m grateful for because of the pictures, but smart little children are sure to ask “why does she have her clothes on in the bathtub?”). Because I like the stories I read to my younger siblings to be a learning opportunity, this particular story seemed to fall short in those ways and didn’t really have a moral to back it up either. But as for the quality of the words and the excellently done pictures, it was a pretty decent little book and I still enjoyed reading it. So overall I give The Adventures of Froblicious the Frog 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it to very young children (under 6). This review was originally posted on Literature Approved. Book 56 of my Goodreads Challenge 2020 Bright fun illustrations that children will love Sadly the kindle version did not manage to have the rhyming lines on the same page in several places. This did not help with the flow of reading and sharing the story. However, the flow improves after each reading. Once you know the story.

My daughters and I enjoyed this book. One daughter said 4 stars, the other daughter said 5 stars. When I asked why 4 stars, she said the rhyming was a little confusing. As for myself, I thought the story and pictures were cute. It's a great story about friendship. The story is an original and unique idea about a girl and a frog. Not your regular princess and the frog story at all. It is totally different and cute. I also agree with the 4 stars like my youngest daughter, so that is what I am rating My daughters and I enjoyed this book. One daughter said 4 stars, the other daughter said 5 stars. While most places rhymed well, the rhyme scheme of one of the sentences was too long, making it seem like the ending word was not rhyming, when the ending rhyme was on the next page. Perhaps the book works better in paperback form with the words side by side to see the rhyming words together. On the kindle/ebook, the words are often on separate pages, not side by side, making it more difficult to keep the rhyme pattern rhythm. We enjoyed this story about friendship and think it would be suitable for children ages 3-8. Jessica D. Adams, Author

Froblicious Frog has lots of fun. He likes to sing, work out and splash and make bubbles. One night he is bored. As he is walking around he trips and goes crashing through a bathroom window. He lands in a tub where a young girl his having fun playing with her toy frog. Could this be the beginning of a new friedship?

The two great things this book has going for it are the name "Froblicious the Frog!" and the really excellent illustrations. Otherwise the plot and the writing have room for improvement. The goal of teaching kids rhymes and sounds is a good one, however! The two great things this book has going for it are the name "Froblicious the Frog!" and the really excellent illustrations. I got this for my six year old to read because of the cute cover and unique name. After she read it, she told me that it was weird and didn't seem like a complete story. She was not impressed with the abrupt ending and the lack of a true adventure. I got this for my six year old to read because of the cute cover and unique name. This was okay, kind of ended abruptly though! I guess the other books in this series will make this one better. Anyway, a little kid would like this. The illustrations are good!

Not Kindle Unlimited, must either be permafree or on freebie day. Been a while since my kids were 2-6, and in fact been a while since my grandkids have been 2-6 so was trying to think back. The story was okay, but then got to the end and it talked about rhyming with stories...the story didn't rhyme half the time, or at least not from the way the book was spaced out and was a bit hard to follow along with not making sense in certain places, so with that in mind it's no higher than a 4. Fun nursery rhyme book that has beautiful illustrations and will help children learn to read with a delightful story about Froblicious, a frog who it seems likes adventure.
