Follow Just A Girl High On Books for more reviews. Issue 1: The first issue of this comic was lovely. The three major sections/stories inside it Neighborhood Watch, Speaking Her Language and Little Lost Fish. Each of these stories was quirky and showed the funny side of Dory quite amazingly. I mean, how could one not love Dory for what she is? Her character is one of the most lively Disney character ever and through these comic strips, Disney has brought out that side quite clearly. I mean, how could one not love Dory for what she is? Her character is one of the most lively Disney character ever and through these comic strips, Disney has brought out that side quite clearly. What's more is that it is funny and sensitive at the same time! Issue 2: I hadn't thought that the second issue could get any better but man, the writers and illustrators rocked this issue as well. Lunchtime, Into The Dark, Into The Deep and Crab's Coral are once again about Dory's adventures from her past and her present. I have to admit, I love Hank, too. He is such a funny octopus and well, I guess Dory could never have found a more better person (creature?) to be her friend than Hank. They're just so great together! If the two were humans, I could very well have imagined them living right next to each others and irritating the hell out of each other. (Or maybe they would have just got together, lol.) Issue 3: The third issue consists of Clam Chat, Intruder, Hero Day and The Show Must Go On. What I liked about this issue was that at least three of them showed Marlin and Nemo in a greater extent. Hank was once again lovable and there was, like I said, lots of Nemo and Marlin to focus on. I guess it was a little disheartening in the past few parts to see that it was all Dory and Hank and no one was given much importance. I mean, had it not been for Marlin (and in a way, Nemo), Dory would never had her own story, isn't it? Haha! Issue 4: The last issue of Finding Dory graphic novel consisted of A Stand-Up Dad, Piranhacuda, Home Sting Home and Follow That Fish. The first part was fun. It showed the classic forever-irritated Marlin and ah, it was fun to see Dory pull his leg (or well, fin) without even realizing it. (Still can't stop laughing over that.) The next part was also so much fun. Considering how we saw Nemo and Dory bonding and then, well, creating that trap—ahaha, as soon as I saw the cave I knew who would end up being trapped. And the next two parts were great in itself, though not as funny as the first. Honestly, I have to admit, it is always fun seeing a little more of Marlin and Nemo! And of course, Hank! Besides, what I loved the most about this graphic novel was the illustrations. They were so pretty! I mean, of course, they were similar to the movie ones but even animated movies tend to have bad illustrations some times. But this one? Naah, the illustrators did great stuff here! And it was so much fun to meet a few of the old characters from the movies, like Bailey, or Destiny or even Mr. Ray. It was rather fun and now I wish there was a "Finding Nemo" graphic novel as well. (*silently sits in a corner and sobs*) Believe it or not, one of the best graphic novels I've read since some time. Haha!

Cute, but jumbled around like the Moana graphic novel was.
