   Ties into Suicide Squad! Picked this issue up due to the lead in to Suicide Squad. Picked up Action #979 and #980 in digital format, and #980 in paper. Great storyline.

   Jetzt wird es ernst, Mongul ist auch an Bord. Jetzt scheint sicher Supermans Gutmütigkeit langsam zu rächen, seine Gegner nicht zu töten. Die Story um Mongul wird in Trinity 1-2 geschildert. Duie Reviews liefere ich noch später nach. Lois und Superman beziehen eine neue Wohnung in Metropolis. Sie machen sich nur Sorgen, wie Sohnemann John reagieren wird. Vom Dorf in die Großstadt… Zwischendurch muss Superman erleben, dass seine geheime Ersatzbasis in der Arkits platt gemacht wurde. Die Alarmsystem Jetzt wird es ernst, Mongul ist auch an Bord. Das kann man jetzt gut oder schlecht sehen, ich beurteile es als neutral. Was die Zeichnungen betrifft: Nach den Ausrutschern im letzten Heft, muss ich ja fast sagen, dass ich echt froh bin, dass Patch Zircher wieder übernommen hat. Die Zeichnungen sind schon ok. Besser so und lieber keine Experimente mehr! Schade, dass Doug Mahnke neben Superman nicht ab und zu auch mal in Action Comics ein paar Hefte gestalten kann. Nunja, man kann halt nicht alles haben!    There isn't another character quite like Cyborg Superman, and there never will be. Probably the most underrated icon in the pantheon of Superman's extensive list of villains, but one of the most powerful. He's such a rich character. Love him.
