Good book This book is written well.It is an easy read. The author did a great job of telling her son's short time with an aggressive cancer. Good book This book is written well.It is an easy read. The author did a great job of telling her son's short time with an aggressive cancer.

A personal account of the author's experience in losing her son to advanced testicular cancer in a remarkably short space of time. I found it quite alarming that one of her son's close friends was already suffering from testicular cancer yet Dan still didn't realise he had a problem till it was far too late. It would have been a useful addition to the book to include an appendix with the symptoms that men and boys (and of course their mums, wives and girlfriends) should be aware of and act upon A personal account of the author's experience in losing her son to advanced testicular cancer in a remarkably short space of time. Testicular cancer is one of the more curable cancers when caught early, so let's take advantage of the opportunity to improve early diagnosis!

A very honest book This book had me in tears but I managed to read it in one sitting. To lose a son is a parent's worse nightmare and to lose a son within such a short space of time is literally heart breaking. Alot of it rings true....my mom lost her son when he was 20 years old to cancer, I was too young to understand what was actually happening. After reading this book it made me realise why my Mom is the person she is today and how her loss has affected the whole family. I would like to thank Anne Logan Huxtable for getting Dan's story out there, he would be so proud of you.

Writers I often get this unbelievable sense to write a book about my wife's experience in having a stem cell transplant but I always feel similar to Anne.(I can't write a book) Thank you for sharing Dan's heartbreaking story you are so brave and have inspired me to also be brave. I'm sure Dan is extremely proud of you.
