Great resource for authors looking to record their own audiobooks I found this while I was researching podcasting setups. Great info, as I'll be recording the audio for my own books as well. I think her list of equipment is good, and I might have gotten the same mic and arm if I'd picked this up a few days ago. I've been recording video for years, and can say the advice on voiceovers is spot on. Highly recommended! Good beginner's guide While I'm sure there are many more factors and details to consider, this book lays out the big steps clearly. I also like the equipment suggestions. I do think the author should include a basic definition of noise levels and how they work, but that is easy to look up. Well written and clear.
