This audiobook is a compilation of quotes that are read from the work 'The Chidakash Gita', which itself was written from notes taken during meetings with Sri Nityananda. Apparently, the notes were taken down in no particular order, and possibly by someone with less than perfect literary skills. This comes through in the work, since the utterances are quite random, and often making heavy use of metaphors and poetic language. Nityananda taught for most of the part in silence, hence also these utterances would have only been a small part of his overall teaching. I like the idea of having some actual speech from Nityananda at the start of each chapter. The actual material would be good for someone well versed in Vedanta and Yoga, but largely useless for beginners or those unfamiliar with these systems. Further, the reading is quite rapid and dense, and it takes a good amount of focus to actually understand what is being read out. Still, it's a nice idea, and worth listening to for those with an affinity for the teacher.
