To hear it broken down piece by piece though from an author whom has used these services is invaluable to say the least. I am certain through my process of publishing my first children's book I shall refer back to this time and time again. Well worth a look.

Great resource I really liked the depth and the writing style of Yvonne. She gets really clear about children’s book self-publishing. I also like how she places the resources and action steps at the end of each chapter. Then she places more resources at the end of the book which is wonderful. Thanks so much!

I read the book straight through first, even though it’s set up as if I was following along as my book was in progress with each chapters goals. I loved all of the encouragement I felt with Eevis cheering on with the readers and writers progress.

Sometimes this book goes into TOO much detail, but if you don't want to follow the instructions on something in particular, e.g. formatting yourself, you can just skip the section. It only gets four stars as I found the frequent lists and tables in a an image format impossible to read on my phone and I had to try and enlarge them which was not fun for the reading experience in general. I think the author should just have a smooth manuscript without all those image boxes. Overall, if you want to self-publish a children's book, read this first.

I got this as an e-book on Kindle Unlimited. It was a frustrating read as there are many lists included that have been pasted in and are unreadable due to their miniscule size and the fact they were not formatted as expandable. It has many 5-star reviews on Amazon, so the information is obviously considered to be very good. It may well be. I can only imagine that most of these reviewers have read the paperback version or a better e-book version than the one I got.

Really useful, especially for new writers. I found a lot I could skip over lightly as I have publishing experience. Still I learned a lot about the actual writing of children's books.
