Andre is in town for his friends wedding, and he meets Grayson from what he thinks is a hook up app. There is some miscommunication, but the guys end up helping each other out. Grayson needs money for his sister's medical care, and Andre needs a date for the wedding. I really liked Grayson's character, and really felt for him as he dealt with a lot of stuff going on in his life. Andre was a sweet guy as well, but I felt like there was too much emphasis put on his money, especially at the end. I feel like there should've been a little more discussion about it or planning for how it could actually work. I'm sure the characters had it off page, but I just felt more like a rush rather than something sustainable. I hope I get to see them in more books later so I can see how they have made it work. That one sentence could sum up the Men of Hidden Creek book Allure, Welcome back to Hidden Creek, season two, "where the heart knows what it wants, and where true love lives happily ever after." Hats off to new to me author Blake Roland for your insightful and oftentimes soothing writing. Andre's character started off rough and I thought, oh, he needed to get knocked down a peg or two, but I was happy to see that the older man was willing to risk everything, just for a sliver of happiness and to make everyone else happy. And Grayson, oh, Grayson. Never had a character just walked on the scene and demanded I delve into his story. From the start I was rooting for him and loved how he grew in character, despite feeling as if he were not enough. The arc of the story and its subsequent climax kept me on the edge of my seat, even though I had it all worked out pretty early. But the reasoning behind it all left me stunned. I also enjoyed the secondary characters and loved how once again the story line flowed, bringing in events from what was going on in town even though this book was not closely involved. All in all, a good story that I can see myself recommending. I will hint that these are books seemed be fast paced and quick on meet to love. But I am loving it. Now onto the next book. I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author through Lescourt.

3.5/4 stars. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD Meh. So I wasn't a fan of the set-up, where Andre thinks Grayson is a prostitute. And that little fact isn't cleared up until nearly 60% of the way through the book. That put a bad taste in my mouth. Also, Grayson letting Noah get to him despite knowing that Noah is a manipulative shit. That wasn't fun to read. Additionally, Andre was a little pretentious, and I couldn't get a good grasp on Grayson's character. I wasn't totally invested in either of them. It wa 3.5/4 stars. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD Meh. I could not help but to instantly fall for this man! He agrees to be a pretend week-long wedding date for Andre, as this money he's being paid will help a lot. As for Andre, I didn't love him in the beginning, but he certainly ends up being a wonderful guy, and so darn good with Grayson. Their story contains misunderstandings, betrayal, mystery and more, as it holds up perfectly to the sweetness and charm of the rest of the series. I am thrilled with this new Hidden Creek book, Allure, by Blake Roland, as I suggest to check out all of the books if you haven't yet.

The characters were well written that I could easily feel what they were feeling. I may even have gotten a bit weepy at some parts. The secondary characters were just as enjoyable as Andre and Grayson as well. I hope there will be more from this author in this series as there are more characters that need their story told now.

Steamy attraction, real connection, identity theft, and machinations create a terrific story! I loved the story-line and the characters really came to life for me. i really enjoyed Andre's personality and his motivations were just so honest. His connection with Grayson was really special. Andre and Grayson together were so awesome! They really needed to work on their communication and a lot of the angst would have been avoided. However, the same could be said for real life. The timeline wasn't an issue for me, it's just that I felt like there was something missing from Grayson's personal evolution to truly sell them together. We see it in the epilogue, which is nice, but I really wish we got it throughout the story. The resolution was sweet, hot, and very cute.

Complications get cleared up, and relationships ended and solidified. Interesting story, good read. KU

New to me author Blake Roland, seems to fit right in with the Men of Hidden Creek family! Book two in the season 2 series, Allure, is full of sweetness and happily ever after, as we are used to and expect in this series, but there are the elements of misunderstanding and betrayal that make the book so much more interesting to read! I would love to catch further glimpses from Blake of both Zach and Noah, in the future!

Now this is a new author and I got to say beautiful job. Andre and Grayson is another great addition to the Hidden Creek family. This is still a sweet story. However with the mistaken identity and the mystery of the story had me hooked on the story becuase I had to know what was going to happen. There is definitely times I just want to smack these two characters just so they can talk to each other. Definitely another recommendation for this second season of Hidden Creek.

this was barely 3 stars for me. Of all the MOHC books, I think this is my least favorite. I just didn't really care for either of the MCs (didn't hate either of them, just didn't have any feelings about them one way or another), the story felt forced and I just couldn't bring myself to care that they got their HEA. The writing was good though and I'd give this author a try with something else. This book just didn't do it for me. this was barely 3 stars for me. My favorite series I read 2 in the last 24 hours. Yes both my favorites lol. I started in the second season with the Christmas books, then went back to read how the established couples came to be. Each story just gets better and better. I read on KU, however I go and by the series I would reread over and over. Yep I’m one of those. I will be buying all of these. They are very worth it.

Taking a chance on love I thought the first book in the series (Ashes) had drama but it has nothing on Allure. Andre and Grayson had to deal with a bit of mistaken identity, backstabbing, and betrayal but it was the lack of communication that almost did them in. I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to read the next book in the series. Taking a chance on love I thought the first book in the series (Ashes) had drama but it has nothing on Allure. Allure To entice by charm or attraction. Such a befitting title to describe the chemistry between these two characters. Their only downfall was lack of communication.
