There is an attraction, but they don’t act on it until her past catches up with her. There was plenty of humor, suspense, and romance in this historical western romance. I love the dog Dawsy would kept following Delia around because of the soap she made. J.B. with his hollow boot was a softy under his gruff persona.

Dana Alden has written a story that keeps you with lots of questions. Delia and J. B. have a rough road to their happily ever after. You are kept wondering all the way if they will make it or will she have different path than his. Well developed characters give you a good insight into the inhabitants of Virginia City. This book keep me reading, not wanting to stop.

Great read I enjoyed this second book as much of not more than the first. The characters were life like and the events as they happened kept my interest. I tried the site to be informed of when the next book would be available but it wasn't working. Hope I will be informed, I was with this one so perhaps I will be able to read the next story in the series. Keep up the good 👍 work. Thanks for sharing your talent with us your readers. An enjoyable Christian book, sweet clean book,I will look forward to following Ms.Dana Alden for more of her books Happy clean book that is appropriate for ages 14+ and up and shows that there are books that can give us hope for a better life than always angry or fussing over and over again until the folks finally figure out they care about each other and kiss everybody is happy .

Good book I didn’t like the first book at first and found it boring. After reading the reviews, I decided to read this book. It was good at first, but the last half was boring. I skimmed the last half. I am not going to read any more in this series.

What a good solid story This was very well written and not your normal heroine let's hero take care of her. Very enjoyable and (spoiler) twisted ending.
