I'm not a fan of anyone in this series so far. Heck I find myself rolling my eyes most of the time. But, I am interested in who killed Erin Mills and why. I may have cared if I had witness Lucas and Hailey together first, since the author went on to say they have been involved for a couple weeks prior to the beginning of the book. I have to problem with falling into bed right away or insta-love in my romances, but I still need something substantial to hold onto. I didn't feel any chemistry with these characters, so it was a lot of tell and no show.

*I received this book as a gift in exchange for my honest opinion. What an epic second installment in this series!!! Trust me. From the very first chapter you'll be pulled so far in to this that you won't put it down until you've finished it. Not that it's long or anything. You could probably finish this book in a couple of hours. Have you read the first book yet? You should. Although this could be read as a standalone, I don't recommend it. This series is turning in to a "who dun it" and following along with the story form the beginning is probably important. That being said, let's dive in to this one. Holy mole´!!! This is super steamy and straight to the point. While most women don't even think to consider two men at the same time, that's not the case with Hailey. Nope. She's all on board with spicing up her current relationship with Lucas, not that's it bad, it's great. It just needed something.. So Lucas suggests bringing in his best friend Cy. And what a wonderful combination it becomes. But although this is a story about a threesome relationship, there's more to it. It's about coming to terms with the past and making decisions about the future. Oh...and don't forget about the whole "who dun it" aspect. And OMG!!! That cliffhanger!!!!! Bring on the next one!!!!!! I'm ready!!!!

While this one was a standalone couple that was separate from the couple in the previous story, I do somewhat feel like the previous story should be read before reading this one. I liked the story line that interconnects them and the way that that overall story arc is continuing to evolve throughout this series. As usual I really liked all of the main characters in this story. Vanessa Vale is really good at writing damaged heroes and heroines that you also really like as people at the same time. She is also really good at writing bad guys. She writes guys that are easy to dislike and hate a little. It just helps me to appreciate her leading men even more. I am really interested in seeing where this storyline will go. Especially with the way this story ended. I feel like there's several different ways that things could go and I can't imagine which way Vanessa Vale will take it. But I certainly plan to read the next book to find out. I also would highly recommend not only this book but the previous book in the series as well.

Vanessa Vale has written another beautiful, suspenseful romance with a hot menage involved. Hailey, Cy, and his best friend Lucas are in a relationship that could either heal or destroy them. Hailey is a world-class ski champion that is in a relationship with Lucas. When both of them decide that they are missing something, they want to see if Cy would be willing to join their relationship. Cy is in pain and not sure this is the best thing for himself or them. There are some hot 🥵 times in this book, but this more than a polyamorous book. This is a book about healing, learning to love and trust, and letting go of the past. There is a little suspense involved too. This book has it all in a neat little package. . My one issue is it is standalone-ish, meaning the couple has an HEA but there is an underlying story that doesn’t get resolved in the book. That frustrates me, as I am not a fan of cliffhangers. Did I enjoy this story? 👍🏻 Will I recommend? 👍🏻 this is a great book to curl up on a cold Sunday afternoon because it will definitely get you warmed up. I look forward to discovering the solution to the underlying story and will keep reading! Happy reading and cheers🥃!

Hailey, Cy and Lucas are hot together, once Lucas and Hailey get him onboard with a menage. Cy has problems trusting people because of his past and Lucas deals with PTSD but is totally in love with Hailey. Together, the three of them try to work on building a realtionship but someone doesn't want that to happen. The twists and turns definitely kept me turning the pages in this romantic suspense. A quick, sexy read with an angsty undertone and a mystery that will keep you glued to your kindle. I can never get enough of Vale's sexy, bossy men but this may be my favorite series by her so far. I fell in love with Hailey, Cy and Lucas from the start and couldn't put their story down. While Mountain Delights can be read as a stand alone I do recommend you read the first one before you pick this one up. You won't regret it. YOUR HEART’S SAFE WITH US OMG, the saga continues from book one, Mountain Darkness, and the mystery of the murder of Erin Mills. The second book really needs to be read after book one, because this is an ongoing saga, and this one has some new people, Lucas, Cy, and Hailey. Hailey Taylor has been recovering from a serious skiing wipeout that resulted in surgery and plenty of PT. She will meet Lucas Mills at a Mud Run in Big Sky, where he will partner with her, and it kicks off a relationship. Wha YOUR HEART’S SAFE WITH US OMG, the saga continues from book one, Mountain Darkness, and the mystery of the murder of Erin Mills. What starts as just fun for her is slowly changing, and Hailey loves that Lucas is kinky too—and when it comes up about a threesome, Lucas wants to bring in his friend, Cy Seaborn. “I wanted her. Needed her. I hoped to marry her. A ring and a piece of paper didn’t matter. Just me being with her wasn’t enough. Because we—me and Hailey—weren’t enough. We needed Cy in on it because our happily ever after included him. We had to see how this would work. Long term? Hopefully, but for tonight, to start.” The plot will have Lucas and Hailey agreeing to have Cy join them for a threesome—and Hailey will go to his ranch, where Cy assumes she is just another reporter looking for a story. It will take Lucas showing up to help convince him that what Hailey was saying was for real—the three of them, together. The chemistry between Lucas, Hailey, and Cy is explosive (no m/m action), and Hailey learns quickly that Cy is dominant, likes to spank and take control—and that works well for her. They are as good together naked as they are clothed, all three blending well—but trouble is on its way. Hailey has been avoiding her future—she is a skiing champion, and her coach is after her to return to work—but is this what she really wants to do? Has her time with Lucas and Cy only be for fun—or does she want more—a future with them? “You have to decide what’s right for you. Only for you. Quit for you, but don’t replace skiing with us. We won’t enable that. If you don’t want to compete anymore, that’s fine. But you need to go talk to your coach. End it.” “I love you. From the very beginning, I think. From that first mud puddle. And you—since the skunk. I’m scared of what can happen. Of getting hurt again. I love skiing; it’s my life, but one awful wipeout and it’s over for me. I’m lost without it, or I have been. Until you, I want you both in my life, but I don’t want you to be my life. What if I fall? I can survive another knee injury, but my heart—“ What will happen when Hailey talks with her parents, her coach, and her sponsors? Can she walk away from competition? How will her coach, Mark Bastion, handle her decision? Has Hailey come up with a way she can still enjoy skiing, but help others? The story also has more about the murder case of Erin Mills. The police are working on eliminating people and questioning others. Is the killer closer than they realize? The tale isn’t over, the mystery has several twists and turns, and this saga isn’t over. But maybe, Hailey has found her new dream, and it will include Lucas and Cy. “Lucas and I had the woman of our dreams, and we weren’t letting her go. In fact, we were going to show her how much we loved her. Words were one thing, but actions were another.” The story is a continuation of the murder case and the beginning of a new triad relationship and does end on another cliffhanger. There are explicit sex scenes that include ménage and mild spanking. If you are not already on Ms. Vanessa Vales’ newsletter list, you need to take advantage and join—there are bonus scenes for each book in her newsletter.

Champion skier Hailey Taylor finds herself at a crossroads in life. She’s been skiing and racing since the age of four. But, after an accident on the slopes blows out her knee, she’s enjoying laying low in Cutthroat while she decides what to do next with her life. Should she start training for next season or is she ready to start exploring life off of the slopes . . . especially now that she has met Lucas Mills. Lucas Mills knew he wanted Hailey from the moment he saw her at a charity event. But, Champion skier Hailey Taylor finds herself at a crossroads in life. But, he also knew that with his PTSD from being deployed as well as his sister’s murder, he isn’t enough for Hailey. He wants someone watching out for her when he can’t, which is why when Hailey suggests she was interested in a menage, Lucas immediately thinks to being his best friend Cyrus into his relationship, and for more than just a night. He’s hoping for a polyamourous forever. Rancher Cy Seaborn has had a rough deal lately, especially when his deadbeat father tried turning himself in for murdering his best friend’s sister . . . a murder he didn’t commit. He’s wary of everyone’s motives and doesn’t feel worthy of what Lucas and Hailey are offering. But, he also can’t say no. With all three individuals carrying so much baggage, can they possibly find their happy ever after? Of, and don’t forget, there’s still a murderer on the loose! I really enjoyed this mix of characters. Hailey is so sassy and confident, knowing exactly what type of relationship she wants. But, she’s also vulnerable when it comes to knowing what she wants professionally, especially after her accident. I loved that Lucas chose to follow his own path rather than the one his wealthy parents tried to force him along. He’s made his own way and now helps other vets with PTSD. He’s also stuck by his best friend even when the going got rough, never blaming him for his father’s actions. Cy is a bit more cynical and mistrusting than Lucas, and for good reason. But, I love how Hailey breaks down his walls. I also love how Lucas and Cy are foils to one another, Lucas being the sweet one and Cy being much more domineering . . .both offering Hailey something she needs in a relationship. Mountain Delights was a great read and I loved getting to know more about what is happening in Cutthroat, especially Lucas, Cy and Hailey! While Erin’s murder is mentioned, however, it really isn’t the main focus of this story so I’m dying to know more about who the killer may be and if they’ll strike again. 4 stars.

Her style of writing has a great recognition value. And their Ménage a Trois scenarios are unique and hot. This book is more seriously than others, the erotic moments are even a bit in the background and are in part only hinted. The murder draws like a red thread through the books and keeps the tension high. For me this is one of her best books.

Whoa baby! The story is heating up. This is Lucas Mills’ story and part of it still centers around his sister Erin. If you read the first book we get mentions of Kit and see Nix. In this story, I love that it immediately starts with Lucas and Hailey moving into the type of relationship they want with Cy. So many connections that it keeps the story going and interesting and the steam just makes it all the better. I can’t wait for more!

I loved every minute of this sexy story. It is emotional and there is also some intrigue involving an unresolved murder. MOUNTAIN DELIGHTS is about three people trying to work through their issues. When they meet, there is a strong attraction between them and they decide to engage in a threesome. As their relationship progresses, they help each other recover and feel whole again. I thoroughly enjoyed this engaging story and the characters.

Omg! I’m loving this series! Hailey, Cy and Lucas are fantastic together! Their attraction was instant and their chemistry was explosive! They complete each other! It’s a steamy, emotional read with drama, danger, mystery and suspense. There are twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. The mystery of who killers Lucas’s sister Erin hasn’t been solved yet. Mountain Delights is a wonderful romantic suspense love story! I can’t wait for the next book!

I had a hard time getting into what was happening in the beginning but once you do, this story just rocks and rolls. Hailey is so brave. She just knows what she wants and needs then she goes for it. The mystery continues to deepen around Erin’s death. A story that has everything you need to stay engaged and excited.

The thing that I'm loving about this series is that this book has its only standalone story, with the larger overlying mystery as a background note. Everyone is interconnected because it's a small town, but they all have their own lives. Cy and Lucas had grown up together, and then Lucas and Hailey were a couple for a few weeks before bringing Cy into the mix. They help each other work through personal problems and heal. LOVED! Mountain Delights is amazing! Lucas, Hailey, and Cy's story is perfect! This is everything that you've come to know and love from Vanessa Vale. This is a continuing story, so I suggest reading Mountain Darkness first. LOVED! Mountain Delights is amazing! Lucas, Hailey, and Cy's story is perfect! OMG! That ending! I'm absolutely amazed! This book started off kind of abrasive. Definitely not the kind of female lead I'm used to, Hailey is a take no crap, say what she thinks kind of girl. Sort of rubbed me the wrong way. But it didn't take long until I figured out why she is that way, and I started to like her cheekiness! Hailey's life is at a crossroads. As a championship ski racer, she had an injury that she is still recovering from, and it's time for her to make some decisions. Where doe OMG! That ending! I'm absolutely amazed! As a championship ski racer, she had an injury that she is still recovering from, and it's time for her to make some decisions. Where does she want life to go from here? Does she want to stay on the path she's been on, or forge a new one with the guys that have captured her heart? Does she open herself up to them, or protect herself by keeping it "just for fun"? This book was all about "fun" until it wasn't. There were some serious things going on in the background of the story, but at the heart of it, their story was just that. Their story. It was all about love, and standing by each other when life get rough. And I just can't get over that ending! It was absolutely amazing! I can't wait to find out what comes next, because if that ending is anything to go by, it is going to be spectacular!

What YOUR HEART’S SAFE WITH US OMG, the saga continues from book one, Mountain Darkness, and the mystery of the murder of Erin Mills.
