2,5/5. I like the art, it was really colorful and attractive for the eyes, and the message in it. Unfortunately the message was just to obvious, meaning that it didn't left any place for a story or entertainment, just a big message straight to your face. I think that a better, more develop story, could have make it a better book! 2,5/5. I like the art, it was really colorful and attractive for the eyes, and the message in it. Dynomike: Pay It Forward teaches kids a wonderful tale about, you guessed it, paying it forward. When Dynomike does a good deed for a friend, instead of having the favor returned he asked them to pay it forward. This slowly starts a chain reaction throughout the neighbourhood. Good deeds happen left and right, and all seems well in the world! The art style stood out to me: it's bright, has sharp lines and is very cartoon-y. That's one of the major reasons I wanted to read it - because it just looks so cool! I'd even say spunky could describe the pictures, they're that much fun! I think this would be a great addition to a kindergartener or preschooler's book shelf. I would highly recommend a cute book like this used as a discussion on how to be nice. It's a sweet, short read that can start some great little talks about being a good friend! If I had one recommendation for this book, I would say that I wanted a little more. It felt too simple or too easy. Everyone just recommended paying it forward but the ending didn't sum up why it was such a good idea. I think a sweet, little summary about all of the good deeds that could be done would have made a great cliff note for the population base that will be reading this book. Three out of five stars. I received this book for free through NetGalley.

Dynomike shows children why paying it forward is a good thing to do! The message Dynomike is spreading in this bright and engaging children’s book is that it’s good to help others, not for reward, just to be a friend to someone in need. When Dynomike goes to get some of his favourite strawberry pickles he is disappointed that the shop keeper Robyn has run out. However, being nice, Dynomike doesn’t let this setback ruin his day, instead, when he spies his friend Spunky having trouble, quick as a flash he’s to his aid. What does he want in return? Nothing! “Just pay it forward. Help someone today,” is his reply. Well Spunky follows Dynomike’s advice and throughout the day the help is paid forward. All the small gestures mean a lot to the recipients, and just take a little time and consideration. What’s more, at the end of the book the young reader discovers that sometimes, small random acts of kindness can reap wonderful rewards! My granddaughter loved me reading this colourful book to her, she adores Dynomike and all his friends, so of course, we download each book as soon as it is released. As a mother and grandmother it is nice to have found a series of children’s books which are suitable for young children, and are also colourful and engaging for them. Most importantly, I can always be assured that each one will cleverly lead her train of thought towards being a nicer person as she grows up, and that it will encourage her to have compassion, and understanding, to others.

Dynomike: Pay It Forward is a lovely book to show children how it is nice to be kind and how it can make others feel. The story starts with Dynomike who wants to buy some strawberry pickles but they are sold out, he is disappointed but helps a friend out and asks them to pay it forward and do the same. This is a really great idea for a book and it is a really simple way for children to understand how being kind can make others feel and improve their day. With the illustrations in a cartoon style with a comic book layout it makes it a really unique read and by having only a few repeated phrases on each page it allows the children to really concentrate on the main message. The bright and eye catching illustrations were fascinating for the children to look at as they looked to see what was happening on each page. This is also great to help them start thinking about what they think is happening in the story and using their imagination. This is a fantastic book to encourage kindness and one that we have really enjoyed reading, definitely worth a read with younger children.

Dynomike: Pay It Forward is a children's book with few words, but a big message. It shows colorful pictures of Dynomike and his friends in the neighborhood as they each have a chance to do a kind deed. In return they then want a good deed to be payed forward to someone else. Pay it Forward is a wonderful idea. One that all should follow. It is geared for K-3, so the drawings and words are simple. Uses bright colors. I have enjoyed all of the Dynomike series that I have read. They are meant to teach small children that being kind and loving is the way to live.
