Dieses Buch war mein erstes Deutsches Buch. Es war sehr informativ und hilfreich für mich als ich die deutsche Sprache lerne. Toll Vokabular! Vier Sterne.

The writing is kind of strange, I kept expecting something to happen in the stories and almost nothing ever did. The positive was that mostly it was A1-A2 words and the "stories" were short. The author used an amount of bureaucratic vocabulary: a job interview, application, bills, invoice, regulations,... I mostly skipped those parts, but it may help you if you want to earn those kinds of phrases. It's a great book to learn new vocabulary . It contains many short stories in different topics and even when you master the vocabulary it is great to look up for phrases, especially when you are not sure how to use it. Okay for practice This book is okay for practicing, but these little paragraphs are not really short stories, because nothing much happens, there is rarely any conflict, and the characters are not developed. Good for brushing up on my German but not very interesting.

Very good help for beginners I really enjoyed this book. I read it without any help from google or any other translator. It was also fun for repeated readings. I recommend reading repeatedly till your comprehension is 100% without help from the word list. Enjoy.

I have been learning german for a few years now (probably 2 or 3) and when I bought my Kindle Paperwhite I was trying to get some books which would help me extend my reading skills. The first author I found was Andre Klein (who is probalby the most popular one in this field), but than, after reading some of the novels I thought I'm going to give a chance to someone else... and that is how I reached the book my Mr. Yildirim. I, myself, am at level B2, so I had no difficulties reading it (maybe sometimes too simple for me, but still, a good vocabulary practice). The only thing I dislike about it is the length of the stories. They could have been a little bit longer, because it feels a little bit like we get the same proportion of stories, vocabulary explenations and test questions. Even though, I higly value the educational aspect of it, especially the real life setting of every story. Great work! Waiting for a B2 one! :)

Okay, ich liebe diser Buch...Warum? I will write the rest in English. I had to get a book in German to help me get better with reading and a short story book with day to day activities and basic vocabulary was needed, so this was a right choice and the free audio feature made it even more amazing. I would listen to the audio separately and read from my kindle separately or together. This has really helped in improving my voccalbulary and listening skills. i will still be reading again and again Okay, ich liebe diser Buch...Warum? I will write the rest in English. I studied German more than 20 years ago when I was a student. Unfortunately I forgot the language, because I haven't used it for a long time. This book is really a great help to remember what I forgot in a long time ago and to go beyond. I studied German more than 20 years ago when I was a student.
