I could just not get into this book. I know everyone like "oh its so good, its so good" but I was just not getting it. It's super sexist and all the character and unrelatable af. Like the narrative pace is break-neck so I can't invested in any of the story lines and even if I could I would still be annoyed because the choices god keeps making are always contrary to what the audience wants. Like Esau should have been given gods holy land not Jacob. That dude was an entitled little momma's boy. I I could just not get into this book. I only made it halfway through the first chapter/book so maybe the author gets better as he goes but I gotta be honest I did not love.

Part of my listening through the Bible (no highlighting, no commentaries) series(aiming for 12 times - one for each month, though I missed Feb). Finished this one early because I was out of library books to split the day with.
