The story starts off hot and just keeps getting hotter as Ana is faced with the prospect that her dreams could come very real if she can open herself up to the possibility but of course that it quite an emotional bomb which has turmoil flowing from the pages. But the chemistry between the three gods and Ana is quite undeniable and the passion is scorching hot while the romance and courting is quite sweet.   The plot is fast paced and full of suspense and excitement as the Ana has also caught the attention of Zeus and his selfish desires which if he claims Ana makes her a target of Hera. This is obviously an ongoing story but this part is delightful, exhilarating read with an epic magical battle that threatens to destroy Ana or at the very least puts the future that Poseidon, Hades, and Dionysus hopes to have with Ana in jeopardy.

This is post office worker Ana Drake, and mythological Greek gods Poseidon, Hades and Dionysus story line. Told from dual first person perspectives (Ana and Poseidon) TAKEN BY THE GODS takes place in the aftermath of a total lunar eclipse, and the alignment of the planets, that opened a portal to the otherworld releasing all mythical beings for an epic battle of Good versus Evil. For years, Ana Drake, has starred in her own dreams as the only woman in bed with Poseidon, Hades and Dionysus. But a total lunar eclipse will bring Ana’s fantasy to life when the trio of gods land in Saint’s Grove, Virginia searching for the woman with whom they have fallen in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Ana and the gods, and the fall-out when Zeus makes Ana a pawn in a dangerous game of winner takes all. TAKEN BY THE GODS is a reverse harem romance story line wherein Ana will be worshipped, loved and adored by three gods who make it their mission to protect Ana from Hera and Zeus. The all powerful gods find themselves struggling to protect the woman they love, a woman who must battle between head and heart when the world around her begins to implode. The fast paced premise is entertaining; the romance is erotic and passionate; the characters are flirty and fun. Copy supplied for review

Ana (the MFC) has been having steamy dreams about Hades, Dionysus and Poseidon for years but thats all they are. So she gets the shock of her life when her dream guys turn up in reality and not only are they hot as hell they all claim they're here to help her. As you can imagine with 3 hot men there's plenty of sex and laughs. This book has plenty of both as well as a***hole gods and a brilliant cliffhanger ending. Loved It. What would you REALLY do if your mythical sexual fantasies appeared in the chaos created after a once in a lifetime lunar event? Answer: You run. Fast. Ana has two selves. Sexy and entertaining I liked this storyline, it started out strong and kept me enthralled all the way through. But it definitely felt like a starter story, like it was a lead up to the real juicy stuff. Then that ominous cliffhanger ending was the icing on that cake. I very much look forward to the next book and to getting more of Hades in the bedroom!

Taken by the Gods, More than Men, Book #1 by Carly Fall This novel had an interesting premise and I thought I would enjoy it more than I did. There were a couple of proofing errors, but nothing too serious. The characters could have used some more fleshing out, but they were likeable. The pacing wasn't horrible, but in the big battle scene, the only action the reader gets is what is happening underwater with Ana and Poseidon. That was disappointing considering the build up to that battle. That was disappointing considering the build up to that battle. All the reader gets is Poseidon's imitation of an aqua lung. When they emerge, the battle is over and there are new players who get very little attention. Ana's reaction to being saved may be easy to understand, but was way over the top. Then of course, there was the cliffhanger at the end. Nope, made me want to add the book to my threw-it-at-the-wall shelf. I still may. Very disappointing. I will not be reading any more in this series. I gave it 3 stars, and I consider that to be very generous.

Greek Gods Harem I love how so many authors turn Zeus into the bad guy in Greek God romances. We all recognize that he was the ultimate tool. Hades is a personal favorite every time, so I'm a little disappointed that this first book focuses on Anna and Poseidon. I also like the inclusion of Dionysus; the party god doesn't get enough love most of the time. Greek Gods Harem I love how so many authors turn Zeus into the bad guy in Greek God romances. Taken by the Gods is very shallow on the story and if you aren't looking for anything complex then I guess it's an okay read. I found the characters to be underwhelming, not just the Gods but even Ana. Ana seems to be weak and not so impactful, she is the reason for the Gods fighting and yet she gets bulldozed over in the climax scene. Greek Gods could have been more colorful but I guess the length holds it back, I still couldn't see their reason for such deep feelings for Ana, it felt fake. The story itself is so confused like it doesn't take itself seriously, the whole thing with Zeus is bare bones at best which is solved in the most blandest and anti climatic way possible in the end. Not to mention Ana's freak-out in the end just to add that little something before they get together is just so forced like it looked so awkward and unnecessary, she ends up feeling out of character with that overreaction that gets flipped in the next page. It's a short read but the content is bland for something that has Greek Gods, there is no substance for the face off with Zeus or the romance with Ana.

Huh? Did I happen to read the same book as everyone else who wrote a review? This book was shallow. A lot of information all at once, no real build up, I couldn’t finish it. I got 73% through and there were just too many cheesy sayings and the gods involved were so hyped and dramatic at times, I couldn’t choke through the rest of it. Dionysus was a whiny baby who just pranced in after scaring her when he was in a drunken angry fit and they have sex? Then Poseidon went all berserk because he was jealous yet for years in her dreams they shared without issue, and now he wasn’t sure if he wanted to? And this whole “if Zeus looks you in the eye you’ll lose your free will”. I mean I get the author is trying to come up with her own spin, but this was just... kinda dumb? And in the beginning they’re obsessed with her bc she’s the only one who has said their names and it’s bc she majored in Greek mythology so she’s said their names in the past, so they’ve been keeping tabs on her during her life. This book just wasn’t for me, I’m glad it was a free read on K, and quite frankly I don’t know how it has gotten so many great reviews. It felt like a RH that was trying to hard and thought that by throwing in some Gods it would make it seem like the type of book no one has written before... which didn’t happen.

Great story and I look forward to reading the next book in this series and I recommend this book.

This is my first book by this author and I absolutely loved it! I loved the FMC Ana she was intelligent and feisty! I loved her guys or should I say gods!! They each bought their own personalities and characteristics to the story and a bit of humour! This book had romance, intrigue and gods and I loved it and after that ending I can’t wait for the next book!
