Spooky. Horrifying. Haunted house eager to have human souls as a snack. When Brad Herrick and his family moved into an older Victorian home in Old Willows Brooke, they couldn’t be anymore happier. A beautiful house enriched with history. But Brad had his suspicion about his family’s new home. His suspicion grew more and more as ghostly activity began more frequent. An attic do Spooky. An attic door opening by itself then slamming shut, for starters. Children's footsteps and laughter echoing throughout the house. Even his little sister, Jesse, acting weirder by the day. As more Brad dug up information about his family’s home, the darker the “enriched” history became. It’s only a matter of time, the elm house would reveal it’s sinister plans for the Herrick family. Will they survive or succumb to their demise as the previous owners have?

Very good premise but the book really needs a good proofreader to take it up a level..

Nice storyline, bad writing While the storyline was good, I just couldn’t get over the extraordinarily bad writing. I felt like I was reading something a fifth grader would write.
