Good story A story of a girl's growth from insecurities to safety & security. She put on a bold front, yet was crumpled & ashamed inside. Her mother would suddenly show up demanding money & sustenance after a new guy dumped her. She was successful on her own except for her mother taking from her. She eventually finds peace & safety. A Great Story I enjoyed this book very much. I felt sad for both of the characters, but was so glad to find them getting along. They were both good people. It was a great story.
