DATE REVIEWED: August 18, 2020 When life for the entire universe and planet turns on its end and like everyone else you “have nothing to do” while your place of work is closed, superspeed readers like me can read 250+ pages/hour, so yes, I have read the book and many others today. 😊 Callisto Media/Rockridge Press was kind enough to send me a copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review. From the publisher, as I do not repeat the contents or story of books in reviews, I let them do it DATE REVIEWED: August 18, 2020 When life for the entire universe and planet turns on its end and like everyone else you “have nothing to do” while your place of work is closed, superspeed readers like me can read 250+ pages/hour, so yes, I have read the book and many others today. 😊 Callisto Media/Rockridge Press was kind enough to send me a copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review. The High Protein Bariatric Cookbook is your go-to guide for eating healthy and keeping the weight off post-bariatric surgery. Tour diet post-surgery is 99.9% of success after bariatric surgery: I am living proof that a lousy diet (I lived om Cream of Chicken soup and kiwi yogurt and got thin…and then I went on steroids that made me gain all my weight back. The recipes in here are great for your way of eating: whether veggies or meats, these high protein meals will get you on your way to KEEPING your weight off. What I love about the book is that it uses whole ingredients instead of pre-prepared and packaged foods. I do draw the line at making my own cheese, and canning tomatoes but the more "ingredients" you use the better. My one nephew says that I never have any food in my house, only ingredients --- that is why I cook so much. I also refuse to eat or cook with "chick'n" and its 88 ingredients vs. 🐔chicken🐔 having one!) As always, I try to find a reason to not rate with stars as I love emojis (outside of their incessant use by "🙏-ed Social Influencer Millennials/#BachelorNation survivors/etc. " on Instagram and Twitter... Get a real job, people!) so let's give it 🐑🐑🐑🐑 This book is also cross reviewed at http://www.facebook.com/janetsbookcorner AND will be on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com after its release date.

Good Cookbook As a recent gastric sleeve patient, I found this cookbook full of easy to make low carb recipes. A lot of bariatric cookbooks have more carbs than we are allowed.
