The communication between these two is top notch, especially when you compare it to other shoujo manga. You get to see a little of Hananoi’s past and what brought him to today - and damn, he was a much creepier bf before 🤣 I think it’s important to note that all relationships are different and there is no one correct pattern to follow. I understand why people think that he’s creepy and their relationship is dysfunctional, but I actually think it is quite healthy for the people that they are. Sometimes it’s a matter of finding the person whose quirks happen to meld with yours, not of finding “normal” (or 30 a lot more single people than there are now).

I’m so sad that this is strictly a digital only since I’d absolutely buy this series, for my manga collection if it were to be a physical release. I love how support these two young lovebirds actually talk through their emotions instead of letting a misunderstanding cause a huge rift. I also really like that in the latter half(?) of this volume, we got to see more of Hananoi-kun’s mindset involving his past relationships.
