Also I was so confused when they were having sex a lot of the times. Granted I’ve never had it myself but I’m pretty sure some of the positions just weren’t right?? And what was the point of condoms if you’re going to eat the cum? Like you might as well just fuck them bare.Anyways I was skimming at the end and just didn’t really care what happened to them. Also they never had sex in the classroom and there was never that angst that I love in teacher/ student romances. I’ve been in slump since like October and every time I think I’m coming out of it shit like this happens :( Not bad read but not a good one either

Tru, Everett and Carter What starts out as just a one night encounter, turns into so much more. I’ll be honest I was really not a fan of Carter. He’s was abrasive and too set in his ways AND almost ruined everything. For an mmm, I was hoping for more balance which happens eventually..but Ev and Tru were my favorite. So... the Valentine’s Day sex made me want to bleach my brain.. chocolate sauce and anal sex together is not the sexy visual I’d want in a book unless that’s your kink. The author should have thought that through.. and some of the positions were a bit anatomically impossible. Porn research is necessary sometimes. Take note. The HEA was cute and I’m glad they all found their way. I wish there would have been a bit more story of the 3 of them all together in the relationship.

This was just okay. I started off really not liking Carter. He was a huge ass and yeah, I get that he was hurt by his ex but it’s been 6 years and he is still all messed up over it. He won’t admit his feelings for his best friend, Everett, but he still hooks up with lots of other guys, as described by his “promiscuous and slutty ways.” Meh, don’t love characters like that. Everett has been in love with Carter since they were teenagers but has never admitted it either. So he’s hurting every time Carter hooks up with other dudes. Seriously sucks. But they have a FWB situation going on and they hook up with other dudes to have a threesome, but Carter has “rules” such as no repeats, and with Everett there’s no PDA, no pet names, a bunch of other shit. So Tru comes along, one of their threesome hookups. But it ends up that Tru is in both of their classes at college after the threesome. So they end up seeing them again... Carter is still trying to stick to his “rules,” even though he ends up messing around with Tru and Ev again, but he gets all pissy when Ev wants to see Tru again anyway. So he won’t do repeats but he’s basically forcing his friend not to either. Ugh. In the end they all end up together and Carter gets his head out of his ass, finally. I’m glad for that but geez. The first half of the book was pissing me off. I’d probably give this a 2.75⭐️ or somewhere around there.

They complete each other perfectly and with time, patience, love and sweet time they realise all they accomplished by being together. Tru is considered the glue that keeps them together, the one who made possible feeling so much happiness, confidence in themselves, and all the things Carter and Everett accomplished professionally and personally since them entered their lives. I really enjoyed the read and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

Wish it was longer. It was a fun, relatively short read. Carter was a super douche for the first 11 chapters. We get it, your ex was horrible but it does not excuse the borderline verbally abusive behaviour to both Tru and Everett. Once he’s in however, he’s all in which is good to see but seems like a shock turnabout. Everett is a sweet open hearted man who just once to be loved. And Tru! Wow! It’s refreshing to see such a sex positive, makes no apologies for what they want character. This book Wish it was longer. It was a fun, relatively short read. I like this read. It was sweet and fluffy with a little angst. I enjoyed that the trio didn't have an established couple adding a third as such. The tension and insta lust was well written and the classroom parts hot! Steamy to romance When I first.started reading this book I was thinking it was going to be just a steamy book full of sex scenes.. well it does jump right into it doesn't it? But it went from steamy to Carter being a fool to oh I'm really liking this story. Tru really does make Everett and Carters lives better. Everett and his patience and love help Carter to see that Tru is what they needed and being closed off is not what Everett wanted anymore. Really good story. So glad I picked it up. "Me Three" is the third volume in "A Proper Education" by Rhys Everly, a series in which the main prompt is one of my favorite ones, namely student/teacher. What can I say about this installment? Let's start with the characters, because their complex psychological structure is certainly their great advantage. What can I say about this installment? Let's start with the characters, because their complex psychological structure is certainly their great advantage. The author puts a lot of emphasis on Tru's, Everett's and Carter's psyche and the problems they struggle with, whether it is an ex-boyfriend who has destroyed faith in a relationship or low self-esteem. What is also a very interesting element of the construction of the three main characters we meet in "Me Three" is their character, because depending on the situation and emotional involvement, they can be very different, which emphasizes the fact that they are complex and very real, just like normal people. It's really important when it comes to character building, so I'm glad Rhys Everly made sure they had a lot to offer us. As for the story, I think I would compare it to a Christmas gingerbread. On the one hand, it is sweet, on the other, it is really spicy, if you know what I mean ;), and it has the aroma of drama, if we take into account the problems of some characters, which go deep into their souls, making their life difficult. I think it should be emphasized that in "Me Three" two topics come to the fore the most - the sexual life of the characters and their attempt to solve the problems they face. At the same time, both of these themes are combined so that our boys can discover needs that some of them haven't realized they have and others have been rejecting. All the plots in the novel merge smoothly and together they create an interesting, technically simple, but when we consider the characters' psyche, complicated story. I would like to draw your attention to one more thing, namely the teacher/student prompt, which is the main one in the series. So, what's so interesting about "Me Three"? Well, in most of the novels this type of relationship is not allowed so that equals the forbidden fruit motif. Rhys Everly puts it a bit differently, as in "Me Three" the characters for various reasons are not supposed to date one another, but it is not forbidden so they can always take a chance. Thus, it is a slightly different way of showing this prompt that many people, myself included, like and even love. Undoubtedly, this gives the author the opportunity to fully make use of this motif, which I consider a plus. To sum up, "Me Three" is quite a nice novel, in which the physical needs of the body dominate, and are overlapped with the psychological needs of the characters. This book is really entertaining, precisely because it combines human physicality with the psyche. In short, I recommend it. ___________________ „Me Three” jest trzecim tomem „A Proper Education” autorstwa Rhysa Everly, serii, w której jednym z motywów jest mój ulubiony wątek – nauczyciel/uczeń-student. Co w tym takiego interesującego kiedy chodzi o „Me Three”? Podsumowując, „Me Three” to całkiem przyjemna powieść, w której dominują fizyczne potrzeby ciała, zaś na te nakładają się potrzeby psychiczne bohaterów. To lektura, która stanowi naprawdę dobrą rozrywkę, właśnie dlatego, że łączy ludzką fizyczność z psychiką. Mówiąc krótko, polecam.

DNF at 30%, and I had literally to grit my teeth in order to get there. The story turned me off from page one and I've remained resolutely off up to the exit point. 1. The story begins with a sex scene. We know nothing about the characters at this point. Not even how they look. We actually have to collect together bits and pieces thrown at random during the scene. You can't write an effective sex scene like that. Try imagining disembodied body parts having sex. That's the effect. 2. Cheesy and full with irrelevant details and yet cold and mechanical. They read more like someone describing the plot of a porn clip he watched yesterday than someone describing the hot sex he had. 3. Despite the fact that the initial hookup is terribly written, all three MCs treat it as "mystical" and "unforgettable". The drive behind their entire relationship is their chemistry during this magical one night stand (and they hardly talked that night). Sorry, but that's neither realistic nor erotic. That's just lazy writing. If the author was gunning for a pure PWP it might have been acceptable, but that's not the case. 4. All three characters are annoying. Carter is obviously the head jerk - as Everett justly said, a nasty breakup is no excuse for treating people like sex toys six. years. after. Get a professional help and deal with it. Tru is mostly annoying due to their obsession about the other two after one hookup. Everett is annoying since he wants to sleep again with Tru without any real consideration of Carter's feelings and/or the risk for his career. All three MCs behave like horny teenagers. Just different variations on the same subject. There is no adult MC here.

There's a lot going on in this story. After one hot and steamy night with Carter and Everett, Tru discovers that both men are his professors for the semester. Cue the awkward moments. Cue the forbidden romance. Cue the fun. Not only does Tru have to deal with two stubborn men and the forbidden position they are in, but he also has to deal with the fact that those two men are in love with each other. I seriously love this story. The developing relationship Tru has with the men is intriguing. And the situation and tension between Carter and Everett is awesome. I love it all. One of my favorite aspects is that Tru has never had any desire to be poly. Until falling for both men equally. I admit there are plenty of moments where I found myself super annoyed with certain characters. Stubbornness certainly leads to stupid decisions. But in the end, all is wonderful. Me Three is a must read the next time you're in the mood for a poly romance. Rhys Everly delivers all the feels in this ultimately sweet tale. And if you like heat, you won't be disappointed.

Tru, Carter, and Everett's romance was undeniably sweet, but I wish the rest of the story had been more fully developed. This story had the potential to be deeply emotional and captivating, but the way it was written made it hard for me to get fully on board. On the one hand, I thought the romantic progression was really touching--the way Carter opened up over time and allowed Everett and Tru to love him was heartwarming, and it was so sweet to see Everett gain some confidence in his body. On the other hand, I was really thrown off by how casually the three of them approached their relationship, given the conflict of interest with the school. I can understand why the author didn't want to get into the ethics of two professors dating a student, but it felt really unrealistic to me that these three could casually date in public without anyone noticing what was going on. I would have loved to see them consider the consequences a bit more, even if it was just a simple conversation between the three of them where they acknowledged that maybe Tru should swap to different classes if they were going to date seriously. In a story where there wasn't much going on besides the romance, I guess I was hoping to see more of how they made their relationship work in real life, but unfortunately that piece was missing for me. **I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. Such a refreshing and much needed add to the genre. Very rarely do we see non binary characters as a main character. The few I’ve seen have been secondary characters with small parts in the story. That being said it was hard to get used to them/they pronouns (hence not seeing a lot of enby characters) which isn’t a bad thing, it just shows the lack of inclusivity. I liked Ev and Carter as characters by themselves as well as a couple and then a throuple with Tru. However, I do think the sex scenes were a bit over the top at times, I was not expecting the level of explicitness or the frequency, and honestly I think it took away from the story. Obviously, the chemistry in the bedroom was off the charts, but out of the bedroom it sometimes fell flat for me. I would have liked to have seen more character development from all three, individually and as a relationship. The angst and drama of the story was kind of glossed over and then not talked about. Overall, an enjoyable read but not one of my favorites. I like Rhys and will continue to read his books, I’m looking forward to Ezra’s story. Teacher/student isn’t a trope I set out to read. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were so many sexy, delicious, and downright dirty scenes between Everett, Carter, and Tru (They/Them). Loved it! Overall, Carter is the “problem” character of the three. His turnabout in character was very sudden, but maybe when he decided things had to change something mentally shifted. Everett was SUPER SWEET. I just wanted to squeeze him. He’s been friends with Carter his whole life. He just wants to find someone to love and have that love reciprocated. When Tru comes into his & Carter’s life, he’s not willing to let them slip through his fingers. Tru, they are such a vibrant character. I loved their take charge attitude, but at the same time they were just as sweet and caring as Everett. Honestly, Tru is the glue that held the throuple together. In the end, we get a lovely HEA. If you’re looking for a sexy low-angst book, I recommend checking this book out.

This novel begins with a pretty epic threesome between Carter, Everett, and Tru. For the most part, it all works really well, although I admit I found Carter’s stubbornness seriously frustrating-- it’s a useful plot device, as it generates plenty of angst, but Everett especially has to have the patience of a saint to deal with all of Carter’s drama. I loved the balance the three eventually find, and that Tru is always a full partner along the way: despite their newness to the dynamic, and the fact that they’re significantly younger, their agency is always felt and respected. All in all, an enjoyable read. *I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

But,what happens when Tru ends up taking not only Carter’s math class as a college requirement, but also Everett’s art class as part of his actual degree requirement? Carter freaks out, but Everett is more chill. Carter definitely acts like an a** in class towards Tru and barely acknowledges him if he sees him outside. However, when Everett expresses interest in maybe dating Tru Carter gets jealous. Can Tru make these two men open up emotionally to each other and still get what they want too? Tru never thought of themself as wanting to be in a poly relationship before, but if they can have Carter and Everett as their “better thirds” then they are all in ❤️. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I enjoyed the story, and the non-binary character was a refreshing change of pace. I would have liked to know the ages of Everett and Carter. Although they were obviously older, they often acted or sounded of a similar or younger age than Tru. He seemed to be in charge of most of the sexual encounters after the first night. Though I liked the story, it seemed more sex than story. I would have appreciated more development of the relationship outside the bedroom. Sweet, Party of Three I’m going to admit that I typically don’t read poly love stories. I make exceptions, and Mr. Everly hit two of them in one go. First: duh, I enjoy Rhys Everly’s storytelling skills; secondly I already fell in love with the series, and enjoyed Tru in Beau Pair. I was not about to pass up an opportunity to read his story, and I’m glad I read it. Carter, Ev, and Tru were great characters. It was easy to like them, even when they were being pigheaded. There was just something that they each brought to the table, and worked for them. The amount of insecurities they each battled, in regards to their throupling, made me want to hug them. I liked how, once the communication got flowing, it continued. I enjoyed that the misunderstandings, and misinterpretations didn’t drag out unnecessarily. I can’t wait to see what Rhys Everly has on store for Ezra! ***I received a copy of this book for my reading pleasure. All thoughts and opinions are my own.***

It was even a bit refreshing to read about one. Now ... having said that, I won’t be adding this book to my library. It’s full of grammatical errors, misused words, bad timing, unrealistic scenes, misplaced dialogue, and just an overall lack of editing.

Here is book 2 in this low angst sweet series about teacher/student relationships. This one is less than conventional. Tru is finding themselves attracted to two different professors at their university: Everett is sweet and Carter is aloof and distrustful. The magic of this book is the three of them realizing that they are so much better all together than any other relationship or sum of their parts. All it takes is Everett and Carter realizing that maybe Tru is the glue that can hold them all together. A very sweet, happy read with all the feels. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I did read an ARC of this book.

Let me say this story starts off sizzling and doesn't stop. Tru, Carter and Everett chemistry burns hotly page after page. Love that Tru is young but knows what he wants. He takes charge of Carter and Everett which was a surprise. Most of the time when it's a Teacher/Student story, the teachers are ..well..the teachers, lol. But not here. Carter had a lot of inner demons to conquer which made him flip flop but once he gave it a go, there was no stopping him. Everett was patient and sweet. He didn't let Carter's doubts/rules stop him from pursuing Tru but he also didn't push Carter away. All three were truly accepting of each other which allowed their love to bloom and be themselves. I can't wait for the next story.

So much heat and a really interesting, well developed story. Talk about awkward, your one night stand reappears when you least expect them to but enjoys pushing your buttons. Tru is utterly fabulous and the perfect addition to make them whole. I didn't expect the heat level to rise so high after the first book but holy moly is it a satisfying read. After everyone's reservations are left at the door it is pretty smooth sailing. I really enjoyed how diverse this book was and sensitive the subject of gender fluidity was explored.

** There is Cum play so this may not be the book for some** This is a student/professor ménage story. Tru is a student that has a fantastic night with Everett and Carter who then turn out to be his professors. Carter is a jerk for most of the book, he almost made me give up on the book, if it hadn’t been for Tru and how sweet Everett is I am not sure I would have finished it. Carter does sort himself out towards the end, helped by Tru being the glue of the three. This book had some issues for me, but I am glad I read it and I look forward to what come next.

M/M/NB-They (cis M) Throuple Teachers/student Manties and makeup This would have been a great m/m story. Everette and True were great characters. The 2 of them were sweet and fun and made a great couple. Carter was a total D and ruined the enjoyment for me. Yes he's been hurt before, who hasn't. I couldn't empathize with him. He was too rude to the other 2. They did have great sexual chemistry as a throuple, that was hot but overall I wished they had ditched Carter. Overall the plot was great. It was sweet with all 3 in the end. Narration = 5 stars The narrator did a great job. They had a pleasant reading voice, expressed the emotions well and used different voices for the characters making it easy to tell the 3 apart and making it a very pleasant listening experience.

an audio review Me Three is part of A Proper Education series. This was an enjoyable book about a non-binary student, Tru, and two of their teachers, Carter and Everett. I liked how strong Tru was and wasn't afraid to go after what they wanted. It was nice to see a non-binary MC. Carter and Everett are best friends with benefits and happen to work at the college Tru attends, though they didn't know it at the time of their first hook up. Narrator John York does a fabulous job and is a joy to listen to.

This book was on fire from page 1! Everett and Carter have been besties since they were kids and have a bit of a friends with benefits thing going on. Tru happens to be the lucky middle in this (very much unknown to him) teacher sandwich. Tru was a force to be reckoned with and wasn't going to let these two incredible men get away.

This is one naughty little treat and then some! I love the forbidden aspect of the teacher/student trope, and Rhys takes it a step further - with two teachers! These three are perfect for each other, it just takes one of them a little time (and work) to figure it all out. The steamy fun times are off the charts smoking hot and very interesting and entertaining. There are also plenty of feels to go along with al the kinkiness. The ending scene (all of them, really, but especially the ending) will melt your device, so have plenty of ice handy!

I freakin loved this story!! I usually don’t read a lot of MMM stories, but this one was excellent! It was on fire hot, steamy and sexy!! I was so excited to get Tru’s story! The author paired them with a pair of best friends who have a friends with benefits partnership AND they’re both Tru’s professors. Carter doesn’t do repeats and he certainly doesn’t do his students. He’s been hurt badly in the past and cannot take any chances with his heart again. Everett was super sweet and in love with hi I freakin loved this story!! I really enjoyed getting to know Ev, Carter, and Tru. The scenes were so steamy and started right away. I loved the dynamic between the three of them. Ev is so great and I wanted to hug away his insecurities, Carter was a jerk but I understood where he was coming from and I wanted to hug away his past hurt, and then Tru was just so adorable in their own right; I loved the different sides of them. The characters, as always in a Rhys Everly book, were relatable and lovable. I loved seeing the coup I really enjoyed getting to know Ev, Carter, and Tru.
