4.8 stars. I loved this. It was sexy and fun and yet this author insists on making my heart hurt with the horrendous pain she puts her characters in. I’m just really loving her writing style. All three books I’ve read sort of follow the same ebbs and flows, so I sort of know When things will sort of explode. But still I’m not bored or upset by it. The plot was fun and also heartbreaking at the same time. Daisy’s ex is a piece of shit and everyone around her sucked ass for the way they treated her. I love that they got a little justice at the end. I just really enjoyed reading this. I’ve fallen in love with this author’s style and I will forever be checking back for new releases now that I’m zipping through all of the back log. So fucking good. So damn glad I found this author on TikTok. My algorithm is killing it.

I loved Faking With Benefits and Nanny for the Neighbors but this one reallllllly didn’t work for me. Maybe it’s because of the heavy subject matter. She lost her job, has been all over the news, is being attacked in person and online, her family and friends have turned their backs on her. It’s alluded to but not confirmed what happens until near the end of the book. This was just… heavy… like I said. It’s not *fun* to read about a woman whose life falls apart because of the abusive and illegal actions of someone else. Even in Sweden in this super small town, a drunk man rants at her in Swedish (so she can’t understand) calling her a whore and a prostitute, grabbing her and saying he wanted to take her home to fuck her and his wife wouldn’t mind. This book didn’t have any of the light, funniness off the previous books I read from Lily Gold. CW: abusive ex, release of sex tape without consent, harassment online and in person, car accident, past framing / put in prison

Daisy just hope that they will never find out what really happened to her and that they can have their happily ever after. This is my second book by Lily Gold, and I can confirm how much of a fan I am of her. Her books are full of 3 dimensional characters, feelings that just want to make you cry and understanding. In the book, the relationship is not just roses, but it looks like how a real relationship is— full of highs and lows.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 This was a solidly entertaining contemporary read. I liked all the main characters, even the grumpy one who was a little too mean at times. Daisy, the FMC, is trying to hide after something truly awful and painful happens and she ends up spending a lot of time with 3 hot Swedish men, who also have painful past experiences. I liked the connection that develops and how a casual relationship here grew into more when none of them were looking for or expecting it. There’s also a great epilogue at the end. I’ll definitely check out more books by this author.

I don’t think I got any sleep while reading this book. The mystery of Daisy and what could have possibly happen to her in the past had me on edge until it was revealed. Riven was calm and calculated and such a sweetheart. The hurt that the three men had was gut wrenching from their ex. I keep thinking of Eli and his horrible belief that he isn’t special and that after a while women get bored of him. God, that crushed me. I highly recommend this book. The different point of views were great and the writing was amazing. I give this book a five out five stars! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ My first read of this Author was the Nanny one, and I felt every single characters emotions and connected with them. With that said. I didn’t have that strong of a connection with the characters here. It was a great book, I wish the ending wasn’t so rushed and we got more out of the bonus epilogue (on her website). So I felt like some “ooomph” was missing. Could have definitely been 4 stars if there was more of a connection with Teddy and her, and it wasn’t rushed at the end.

    * Hilarious* The story revolves around 3 Swedish men, as you can tell by the title but it's absolutely fulfilling. This is a great pick me up for times when you're looking for a break from all the dark romances. The story is fabulously executed. So, read it for the banter, for the hot men, for a strong female lead, for sleepless nights. I loved this one! It was a super fast burn and cute romance. I loved Eli, Riven, and Cole. Although Cole was an extremely stubborn a**hole m, but you still end up loving him. Daisy was great too! I do wish there was a little more of Cole in the book but at the same time I think the way everything happened was perfect. But still wish there was some more Cole time! I just want to say that their ex was a nasty woman and I’m glad Daisy and the guys found each other. Actually not just the guys ex but Da I loved this one! It was a super fast burn and cute romance. I know people reverse forgiveness, but what her parents did to her by not believing her and kicking her out. I don’t think they deserve it at all. I don’t know I feel like there should have been more there. I love how all of the characters had such different and unique personalities.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is the first book I have read from this author and I have to say, I’m now a fan. The characters were well thought out and came across as strong individual characters who knew what they wanted and went out and delivered a great storyline. I fell in love with three strong mountain men, Riven the doctor, Cole the strong and grumpy ranger and finally Eli the sexy hot ski instructor. Daisy was a firecracker of a pocket rocket who was used by her ex boyfrie I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is the first book I have read from this author and I have to say, I’m now a fan. Give me anything with ‘Swedish mountain men’ in the title and I’m there. I really enjoyed this one too! I reckon it’s in second place after Faking with Benefits - all the guys in this felt really individual, and to be fair, every one of Lily Gold’s books that I’ve read have had male hero’s who didn’t feel like carbon copies of each other, and I had no trouble differentiating between them in my head at any point. Only gripe is sometimes I forget what position people are in at certain points, if y Give me anything with ‘Swedish mountain men’ in the title and I’m there. I really enjoyed this one too! 4.5 stars. This was such a fun, cute, and sweet read with plenty of depth/emotion, hurt/comfort, mystery/suspense, adventure, steam, and plot. I really enjoyed it! I was hooked from the start and could not put it down! I decided to give this a try after reading and absolutely LOVING Triple-Duty Bodyguards by this author, which is hands-down one of the best books I’ve ever read. And overall, this one did not disappoint! I liked it for a lot of the same reasons I did Triple-Duty Bodyguards. Plus, 4.5 stars. And overall, this one did not disappoint! I liked it for a lot of the same reasons I did Triple-Duty Bodyguards. Plus, it kept my attention and made me smile, laugh, hurt, and just feel. It was immersive and kept me guessing what was going to happen next and whose POV would be next, which I loved, because it kept things interesting!😄 I really liked the writing, the emotion and depth, the story, the layers, the settings, the multi POVs, the forced proximity due to snowstorms, the pacing, the steam, the character and relationship development, the dialogue and banter, the humor, the richness, the interwoven storylines and how they all came together, the mystery/suspense elements, and just the overall themes and vibes that are hard to explain (like how Sam is dealt with, how the MCs’ relationship is discussed, and the scene between the MCs and Daisy’s parents at the end). Overall, this was really refreshing and very well written and developed.🙌🏻 The MCs (Daisy, Eli, Riven, and Cole) were so great and had a lot of depth (yay!). I loved their personalities and chemistry. They each had distinct POVs and similar yet different traumatic experiences and backstories that led to strong emotional connections and understanding❤️. I loved the hurt/comfort vibes between them all and how supportive, caring, and mature they all were. (I guess I’ve read too many RHs that feature high schoolers and dumb bullies and MMCs that “rule the school” and think they’re tough/badass or whatever and MCs that are immature/bland and whose only personality traits and thoughts have to do with sex and how hot they are🤣; well, thankfully, that wasn’t the case here at all). I really loved how independent, strong, interesting, relatable, and likable the MCs in this were. They each felt like their own fully developed person, if that makes sense. I also loved how vulnerable they all were, and their intimacy, scenes, and conversations were fantastic. Also, they had each been through the wringer and f*cked over by loved ones, in one way or another, and were damaged, but they were also tough, resilient, and compassionate. They were fighters and didn’t let their pasts and what happened define or control them. It took a while for some MCs to get there, but in the end, everything came together beautifully and they all got their HEA, which was well-deserved and hard-won. Made me so happy.🥰 Although I enjoyed the story, I found myself wanting more. I wanted another layer to the story or something else going on besides the MCs working through things and developing their relationships. I was hoping their would be more action/suspense elements to break things up and keep things interesting. There were a few scenes like this, which I really appreciated, but I was left wanting a few more. Some parts felt a little dull to me as the story progressed, and the sex scenes started to feel a little redundant. I guess I wasn’t as invested as much as I wanted to be, and it probably had to do with my expectations, especially after reading Triple-Duty Bodyguards, which was action-packed and full of suspense. But I still really liked this one and was impressed by how well done everything was. Overall, this was a great read. I really enjoyed it and have become such a huge fan of this author. Can’t wait to read more from her!😊
