Sam Raven has collaborated with many operatives over the years, but he owes Aaron Osborne a debt for saving his life. When two men have fought the worst of covert missions together, they forge an unbreakable bond. When Aaron comes to him for help on ripping off a pair of French drug dealers for a quick influx of cash, Sam is there for him. As he listens to the reasons and plans for the heist, he has the feeling that something is off. He even offers Arron the money, but he refuses and insists on doing the heist instead. Raven thinks the plan has too many holes in it, plus the risks are over the top but he can’t turn him down, so he will just have to be there for him. Hopefully, they will both make it out alive. Before they leave for the job, an old friend contacts Sam and informs him that Aaron has been going off the rails for some time now. He is sure that the heist that he has planned is not for the reasons that he told Sam. Indications are that he is building a war chest to finance a war in Europe with Aaron profiting from the sold arms. Plus, he thinks that his plan runs even deeper with others involved. Sam pledges to prevent the deaths of millions of innocent people by stopping Aaron from completing his mission. He just hopes that he can save Aaron too. Join Sam as he works to stop a war from ravaging Europe and a profiteering conspiracy… What did I like? This was sure an action-packed, emotional read from the first to the last page. Have to admit that I was hooked on page one and had trouble putting this book down. Sam is the kind of man that every person wants to be able to call their friend. He will back your play and try his best to keep you safe, never walk away from a debt owed, and will do his best to protect innocent people from harm. Very loyal to all including his country. What will you like? Oh, my goodness, you won’t believe the action, intense intrigue, unbelievable mystery, fierce loyalty, all combined into one fantastic storyline that rips through the pages like a hurricane. The characters are unique but yet they are the everyday types that you know all around you. If you don’t then you certainly want to. The best part is that you can add him to your Library and visit him anytime you want. Guess that is the best part about books, they are always there for you just like a great friend! “The War Business” is available now! • ASIN: B098415678 • Publisher: Wolfpack Publishing • Publication Date: 7/28/2021 • File Size: 2035 KB • Print Length: 221 pages • Genre: Assassination Thrillers, Pulp Thrillers

But the real mile-a-second blitz follows that takes Sam, Aaron and Tracy, a CIA operator, on a wild journey from Paris to New York, Reno, Nevada to New York and finally, to Ukraine. Lots of excitement, intrigue, action, car chases, bad guys (and women), and shoot-em-up and put gem scenes. I've said it before, Sam Raven rocks! I would never trade places with him but I'm thankful that there are real life avengers like him.

Not sure why someone gave Aaron "hero" status in an earlier review- he turned out to be anything but. He did a good thing -killing terrorists-in the beginning but money won out towards the end. A typical Sam Raven is the hero book but we still don't know the locket story unless I missed it. There are hints in a few books that it is an important reason he does what he does - I'm guessing about family but no details. Will one of the next books be helping Tracy find her lost Dad? Fills the time but that's it The story is thin with little character development. Lots of gatitudinus violence that gets tedious after awhile. Basically just a beach book to pass the time. Meet the Real Sam Raven À good start to meet Sam Raven, not a true mercenary, but a mercenary none the less.A guy you will get to like but like for his reason, not yours. His values are the reasons for his actions which we question in each chapter. Check out the excitement.

The story line is good but not as good as his other novels. Just like his other novels you will want to continue reading it to the end to see the final outcome!!! I recommend it!!!
