Sutton I'm a center forward with the Boston Bay Vikings and consider myself to be a private and compassionate man. Although I enjoy a beer with friends and the occasional hookup, I like to be alone. My past isn't one of love or kindness; in fact, it's best left buried. I know I should avoid Hailee, but the harder I try, the more I find myself drawn to her. Sutton has stood by my side and protected me from the press, which is only interested in getting my story—an exclusive—from me. My father enjoys being in the spotlight and is flying in from New York to make sure I do what I'm told. Before he arrives however, Sutton kidnaps me from the hospital, and this time, I’m a willing participant.

Five freaking huge stars for this read! It's no secret I bloody love this author and I inhale every read! This was no different. Sutton is book 4 of the Boston Bay Vikings series. 3.75⭐ Sutton: on the ice continues the Boston Bay Vikings Series and directly follows on from Ethan and Riley's story with Hailee being rescued and taken to the hospital and Sutton determined to stay by her side as she recovers from her traumatic injuries and time spent with Riley's stalker. And with a story that nicely mixed romance and serious issues with a little suspense this was an engaging read. But it was also very short and that's what really stopped me from truly loving it and rating it h 3.75⭐ Sutton: on the ice continues the Boston Bay Vikings Series and directly follows on from Ethan and Riley's story with Hailee being rescued and taken to the hospital and Sutton determined to stay by her side as she recovers from her traumatic injuries and time spent with Riley's stalker. ~Europe 2021 Reading~ To start, this does not read like a standalone, so if you have not read the rest of the series, I would not suggest picking this up. I felt like I was starting in the middle of a book rather than the start of the relationship. This (combined with the often cringy writing) made the whole relationship hard to buy.
