Luna Freed: Beyond the Wall

Availability: Ready to download

I often stared at the walls and wondered what was beyond them. After my first escape, I realized that everything I'd believed, everything the Elders told us, and everything I thought I knew were all calculated lies. Now I know the truth will set me free. Thought the writer did a great job of showing how Luna acclimatised to a very strange (to her) environment.

Less of a crap sandwich but still barely edible I only read this sequel because I did get invested in finding out what happened to Luna. But there were so many, many ridiculously implausible and just not-well-thought-out things about this book that I could have lived my life without ever knowing. I could go on but suffice it to say that your time is better spent on any other book. Except the previous book.

Not For Me ****Spoilers **** I'm not sure what it was, but something kept me from really connecting with the characters. Rather than reading like a story and flowing, events came out as forced. I skipped ahead in book 1 and skipped most of book 2. The one thing that had me wanting to know what happened, and not just closing the book, was wanting to see Luna and Cain together. Surprise! They're brother and sister. They couldn't be together. My one investment, gone. I would have been happier with a Not For Me ****Spoilers **** I'm not sure what it was, but something kept me from really connecting with the characters. My one investment, gone. I would have been happier with a tsboo ending and them saying eff it, we love each other. Or what I really held my breath for, getting DNA results that they weren't actually related. Part of the problem is, I need to stop trusting recommended books from groups. My request was, dark cult books with no cheating and a happily ever after. I assumed HEA suggested romance. This was not a romance. It was not dark. It was a completely clean read. So part of it's my fault for not researching the suggestion before reading, which is why I gave four stars. I'm thinking if a person knew what they were getting into. A coming of age story that shows the strength of a young girl and her determination to not just survive, but live. It's not a romance in any way. It's happy in the end in that they all made it and are living their lives to the fullest. If that's what you're looking for, you'll probably enjoy the journey these characters go on. For me, I'm left feeling utterly frustrated and disappointed. In my mind, Luna and Cain go off into the sunset and make pretty little babies.

Part two of two. Leaving and getting caught then having the courage to do it again is just one of the reasons I love Luna. She is such a remarkable character and although I'm sure the genetics would be just like what was written, it hurt my heart a little. I adored the ending! Dreams can come true! Part two of two. Was hoping the second book would be an improvement but it was basically like the first. I personally feel it lacked that intensity that the authors other books have. It was slightly dull and I just needed more ...

Fascinating story I read the first book and found it fascinating. I read the second and in my opinion was not as good as the first one I'm very happy with the end . and the story line. I was so curious to know what will happened next. Fascinating story I read the first book and found it fascinating. Much of the book was too far removed from reality for me, but it has a sweet "happily ever after" ending. Much of the book was too far removed from reality for me, but it has a sweet "happily ever after" ending.

This series was amazing Such a well written book. I cried with Luna and I escaped with her. I felt her fear and her elation.

A brilliant conclusion to Luna caged. Again I read in one sitting. It was just too good to put down.

A damn good read, and sadly a lot of short one to. Not as good as the first one, I do feel a bit more could of been into certain scenes and maybe a bit more at the end.

Soooooooo i meant to do other stuff with my day, but i sat down and started this book and here i am three hours later having finished it and y'all, i dont know if ive ever been left feeling sO fullfilled by a book. That saying of "the best revenge is a life well lived" is SO encompassed by this book. Women supporting women, platonic love, justice, candid conversations about how fucking weird society is, women following their dreams and doing badass shit. Im just. AgH.
