Talk about a gripping story. What a surprise. This story pulled me in and I didn't stop until I had finished the final words. The descriptions that the author has given just pull you into London's less than stellar areas where opium, pain killers and alcohol are readily available. The characters are created brilliantly to fit into every niche that was needed. I compliment the author on a successful story that gives you a pretty stark dose of reality.
