I thought this would be a cute, easy ready with fun little stories about the women mentioned... it was just OK. A lot of the same women were repeated throughout. I did enjoy some of them, but this could had the potential to be so cool, and it really just felt like something that was pumped out to make a quick buck.

I don't know what I expected, but I did not expect what the book was. It's literally one quote per day starting on Jan 1. I guess I was hoping for Andy's analysis or an anecdote to accompany each quote. This might also be better if it weren't a book but maybe a desk calendar where you tear off a page/quote each day. I mean....it's a quote a day book, so it's a little hard to review. But I enjoyed it as someone who enjoys Andy Cohen and pop culture. He has little blurbs under each quote sometimes pertaining to the quote or the person the quote comes from. It made me chuckle a few times and was fairly quick to get through. It wasn't one I felt I'd need to buy, but it did it's job and entertained. Points for having quotes from housewives, Chrissy Teigen, Goldie Hawn, Miley Cyrus, and, of course, Evelyn Cohen. Disappointing. I love Andy. I’ve read (and thoroughly enjoyed) all his other books. This book, ironically, seems uninspired. There was no substance. Someone mentioned it would have been a good tear-off daily calendar; I agree. I needed more of Andy’s own glitter to make this book shine.

This book included quotes, some obscure & some well known, from many famous women. Each page included a quote & comment from Andy. It was a quick read but enjoyable.

This would have been better as a desk calendar with quotes…

My rating of this book is perhaps not entirely fair. I am NOT at all the target audience for this book... I picked it up because I needed a book from a specific library display for a library challenge, and this one looked like the easiest to get through... I expect people will think I live under a rock but... I didn't really know who Andy Cohen was. I recognize the name as some sort of TV personality but literally couldn't have told you a single thing he was connected to. I recognize the name as some sort of TV personality but literally couldn't have told you a single thing he was connected to. And reading through this- I should NOT have picked this book up. Late night talk show- not my favorite but whatever. Producer etc of trash reality TV- active avoidance. I do not watch TV often, and have watched almost zero of the trashy reality TV. I've never seen an episode of Jersey Shore, Keeping up with the Kardashians, or The Real Housewives of wherever. And, I never intend to. I have no desire to. This book was full of trash quotes from women in media. I'll give credit- There were a few good quote from a few women that I like and admire. But most of the quotes were awful and made the women who said them sound stupid, or shallow, or gross. And his commentary?! 🤢😒 He just sounds annoying. And it was full of fake feminist support. He talks over and over about how much he likes strong women, but filled his book with quotes that make these women he claims to adore look weak and catty and shallow. And some of these women absolutely present themselves that way (and it's obviously working to sell their brand. They make a lot of money...) but it is not empowering to have a day to focus on Kim K. crying bc she lost a diamond earring. AND. I was SO irritated by one of the days- One of the quotes (from I can't remember who... ) said they'd always thought they'd make a good man. And Cohen said, I've always thought I'd make a good woman, except here are several sentences about why clothes and fashion would be hard, so nevermind, I guess not... As if clothes and fashion is (or should be) a significant things about being a women. UGH. I actively hated this book. I spent page after page making noises, and verbalizing, out loud (to my empty house) how trash and annoying and repugnant this book was. I was so frustrated and annoyed and just... BLECH reading it. If you like those reality TV shows and whatever Andy Cohen is involved in, you'll probably like this one fine. But man. I did NOT like it at all. And, I know I wasn't the target audience, but WOOF. Hard pass.

Zero stars. Worthless money grab that Andy Cohen should be ashamed of. Half the tiny book is white space and there is almost no real content--just a random quote on each page from a woman that's not usually inspirational, followed by a line or two by Cohen that says nothing. It reads like he did this in his sleep. Then in the end you find out he didn't even do the work for this--his assistant found all the quotes and Cohen just wrote (or said) something snarky to go along with each, often having Zero stars. Many pages have two-thirds white space and only two sentences on them--one from a woman and one from him. Who is buying this as being inspiring? It's hilariously promoted as a "daily meditation" but gives you very little to think about. Simply a way for Cohen to make some quick money for his new self-named imprint. When will people realize that Andy Cohen has been using and abusing women for years in order to make money, all in the name of supporting feminism and racial equality? In truth his TV productions and books show his stereotyping of women's worst qualities and demeans them. Somehow he has managed to milk followers and gotten away with saying whatever insensitive things he wants to make a living. He does have talent but wastes it on things like this book project. Next time he should actually sit down and write a real book that isn't just a diary or his one-sentence reaction to quotes. The great irony is that he says his goal "is to provide you with a daily meditation" and yet he never seems to take the time to really meditate on what he's doing or how he is often promoting the worst of women.

This was nothing shockingly new or earth-shattering. It was just a fun collection of quotes by bad ass, wacky, funny, amazing women. I liked Andy's addition of his own thoughts about each quote, and also liked that there was a footnote at the bottom of each that tied something relevant about the person or quote to that specific day. I do think this would make a great page-a-day calendar. As a side note, I read this book out loud to my 2-month old son when we would go spend time on his play mat. Although there were a few times I found myself censoring the language a little bit (Cardi B I'm looking at you), I like to think it was a good crash course in bad ass women for Lincoln. And, you know, it allowed me to fit a little more reading in for 2021!

My sister gave me this book to read; not sure where she got this from but ... to me I'm not thrilled with the book. Sure, a quote a day but more of them are picked out to represent an event that may have happened in AC's life that day or even had happened in the world of showbiz that same day. In my thought process - this may be better (and others have said this too) as a "page a day" type of calendar. It just isn't my style or type of book I'd normally read, but got through it by lulling myself My sister gave me this book to read; not sure where she got this from but ... to me I'm not thrilled with the book. Save your money. I bought this because I’m an Andy fan and a fan of all things Bravo but this book is the dumbest thing I have ever spent money on lol The cover is cute and that’s about the only good thing I can say about it. I’m not sure what I was expecting but THIS isn’t it. The book is all over the place and the quotes are uninspiring. It feels as if Andy did the absolute bare minimum putting this book together, if he did any of it himself at all. I could have put this book together myself. Save your money. A fun, casual read to pick up when you see it on the table. While it’s designed to read one page at a time, it can be read in one swoop through. I found many of the quotes inspiring and humorous from women in all different walks of life: politics, reality TV, film, activism, and even Andy Cohen’s mother! He tied in facts and anecdotes for each quote/speaker that add more color and personality to this read.

It wasn't what I expected, although I am not sure I know exactly what I expected. Basically, when I asked for it for Christmas, I didn't know it was a quote a day book. I love Andy Cohen, he is my absolute favorite, so I appreciate some of his little stories. But I think I wanted more. For what it was. It was good. Good enough, I've read ahead for the whole year. Lol. I could do it at a page a day. It wasn't what I expected, although I am not sure I know exactly what I expected. Overall just blah, but a quote for each day of thr year. Not many inspirational quotes and the blurbs underneath were sometimes odd. Very heavily Bravo focused which my mistake for not realizing this before I started. In teeny tiny font at the bottom of each page had some what happened on this day references, but not always so you couldn’t depend on that either.

There are some good quotes in the book and I found it pretty amusing overall so I'm giving it three stars (no thanks to Andy who brings little to the table.) You can read it in a few hours....skip the parts where Andy comments. 0 minutes ago · delete · flag There are some good quotes in the book and I found it pretty amusing overall so I'm giving it three stars (no thanks to Andy who brings little to the table.) This book was OK. Readers who like show business or keep up to date with the persons mentioned may find it delightful. It would probably be enjoyed by readers who enjoy shows on bravo TV.

Well, it's not the worst thing I have ever read. I did expect more from the writer...maybe a few more comments on the quote of the day. Some just didn't make much sense out of context. I am a huge fan of ALL real housewives (of any city). 365 quotes that span over all the franchises and even go outside them into the inspirations of Andy. Loved reading this. This is a absolute must read.

I just loved how Andy commented and added his story/opinion to each quote. This book was a great fun and entertaining read. All the personal touches about each quoted woman was appreciated.

You have to enjoy Andy Cohen to even remotely enjoy this book. His first two were better, but this one was mildly entertaining. Maybe a good book for your powder room or guest room.

A quick and light read, mostly a coffee table book, but with the Andy personality we (I) know and love. https://katieboe.wordpress.com/2022/0... A quick and light read, mostly a coffee table book, but with the Andy personality we (I) know and love. https://katieboe.wordpress.com/2022/0...
