IS THIS A DREAM?! A delicious marriage of my two favorite things in life- book boyfriends and food?! So many of my famous romance authors, so many of my favorite books, and some really yummy recipes. This cookbook has it all- amazing apps, delicious desserts, mesmerizing main courses, and some colorful cocktails. I was so excited to try a few out, but I’ll admit, I’m not the best cook. Fortunately every recipe comes with a picture and a super easy recipe- and many of the recipes in this book use simple ingredients and aren’t too complicated. I decided to start with some simpler ones by some of my most favorite authors to celebrate the books I love. I started with the delicious butternut squash soup inspired by Amelia Wilde’s Secret Beast. Leo Morelli is a favorite book boyfriend, so I just HAD to have the soup inspired by the fun scene where our growly alpha has his favorite soup. The recipe was super simple and the result was quite delicious. Add in some crusty bread, and I was ready to cuddle up with my warm soup and a re-read of one of my favorite Amelia series. I also tried my hand at one of my favorite desserts, tiramisu, a sweet temptation inspired by one of my favorite Cora Reilly stories. This recipe was also surprisingly simple since it doesn’t require homemade lady fingers, and the result is a sweet temptation indeed. My only issue was I couldn’t stop sneaking spoonfuls of the cream! I also really loved having a wedding themed cocktail inspired by an upcoming book by Monica Murphy with my favorite Dangerous Press character yet to get a book. This morning I also had breakfast tacos from a recipe inspired by one of Skye Warren’s stories. And I’m planning on trying my hand at the Black Swan inspired cheesecake next. I was also SO tickled to see a scone recipe from my favorite Melanie Harlow series. And there are SO many more. I can’t wait to try them all! What a fun, clever, and delightful way to celebrate all the stories we love- I felt like I was dining with all my favorite authors and their mesmerizing characters. This cookbook was truly a brilliant idea! For me, when an author incorporates either a food or a drink into a scene, and times it just right, it really enhances the scene and turns the food or drink into a real aphrodisiac. Beautiful and colorful illustrations of each recipe are followed by what book it came from, and an excerpt from the book. I remember some of these stories and where the food was introduced. Yummo!! For me, the aspect of romance authors creating a cookbook adds a special touch for book lovers to enjoy. This cookbook contains appetizers, sides, main dishes, soups, desserts, drinks and even breakfast/bakery items. It featured unique and diverse dishes for different taste palates, and skill levels. More importantly, the best part of this cookbook is that the recipes were easy to follow, easy to prepare and turned out delicious. So far, for the purpose of this review, I made the easy grill steak offered by Terri E. Laine from her book, For Money Man and accompanied it with Amelia Wilder’s Parmesan Brussels Sprouts featured in her book Dark Reign. I have to say both were tasty and easy to make! I’m working my way through all of the recipes, starting with Good Luck Dumplings from For Dirty Filthy Rich Men by Laurelin Paige. These pan-fried dumplings look delicious and super easy to make. I also remember the sexy scene from the book as a special bonus for Valentine’s Day 😉 But my hips won’t lie…I have to go slow! Until then… Buen Provecho!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.com This is a cookbook that contains some great looking recipes from some of our favorite authors and series. I would list all the authors and recipes but there are a whole bunch of them. 44 of them to be exact. The first thing I noticed was that when you open the book you see the recipes and a picture of the dish you would be making. Some are more complicated that others but I would say that most of them look like if you cook you would have no problem at all. And I cook. Every single day so I am excited to have some new recipes to try out and my family will be happy to have something different to eat I'm sure. What really impresses you though, and I think it will everyone who has read book by these authors, is that it tells you which series the recipe is for and the name of the recipe pertains to something in that series. I have to say too that this cookbook would be amazing to have in a hardback edition to have and actual hold and even put on your recipe stand and I don't even have one of those things. But I would sure run out and get on to just display this book when I'm not using it. I am telling you it is the coolest cookbook I have ever seen and the recipes look so yummy. I also have to admit that I might, well there is no might to it, have had a fangirl giddy moment when looking through this book and checking it out to see a series I loved and then a recipe for it!!! Coolest thing ever. I will be making these recipes. I have already tried on and then forgot to take the picture of it so I am going to make something else asap so I can proudly say this recipe was by this author from this specific series.

I really like this cookbook! The recipes all sound good and I haven't tried many yet, but I definitely want to try more in the future. I also love how every single recipe is linked to a different romance novel. There are notes from the authors, e.g. saying why the specific recipe fits the book or characters and sometimes there are excerpts from the books, too. It definitely makes me want to try out not only the recipes themselves, but also the books they belong to! :)) I really like this cookbook! Moorish cookies! This cookbook has some interesting recipes and I made the CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES from For the Love of English by A.M. Hargrove’s recipe, along with my daughter. The recipe was straightforward and the mix was tasty! The cookies were delicious and eaten in no time! The mix actually made more cookies than the recipe suggested. Made 19 yummy cookies that were soft inside. Will definitely make again with double the recipe, especially where kids are involved! Lol!

Love the idea behind this! I’ve made the tiramisu, which came out incredible, and can’t wait to make some of the other recipes. I like the balance of main dishes, sides, desserts, and the addition of the cocktails. Also enjoyed knowing where each recipe was from. *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I really liked this cookbook. It recipes from romance authors inspired by their books. It's broken up into 6 sections, Appetizers and sides, soups, main dishes, desserts, cocktails, and bakery and breakfast. We Paired Blue Cheese Burger Sliders from The Perfect First by Maya Hughes with Winston Constantine's Breadsticks from Stroke of Midnight by K. Webster. I haven't read the Stroke of Midnight but after reading the excerpt I want to read it now. I had to double the recipe for the Blue Cheese Burger Sliders. I have picky eaters so for the burgers 9 people tried them and all loved them. Everyone tried and loved the Breadsticks. The only issue I had with the breadstick recipes was I had trouble figuring out how to twist them but tI figured I out after out a few tries. I also made Oreo-Stuffed Cookies from The Locker Room by Meghan Quinn. These were a hit in my house and I have had a request to make them again. The only complaint the kids had with this one was that they took a little longer to make because they have to chill for a bit in the freezer. A favorite soup in my house is Wedding Soup so I had to try the Wedding Soup recipe from Captive Bride by Alta Hensley. Eight people tried it all of them loved it and one even said it's one of the best they had. I am definitely trying more recipes.

I tried a few of the recipes that I will review and pictures to follow. I chose random recipes that I already had most ingredients on hand. First I made the Bruschetta from Willow Winters: this was easy, delicious, and something I will make over and over. Next I made Andi’s Cheese Grits by Susannah Nix: As a southern gal grits is a must have staple in the house and add cheese I’m sold. What I liked about this was the heat added by the cayenne pepper. I have never had my grits this way but it is now my favorite way to make them (ps I added chopped up bacon to my grits because well I’m extra like that, you don’t have to do this your choice but shrimp would be fantastic too). Next I made Spicy Boneless Wings by Teagan Hunter: These were absolutely delicious and the fact that I could make them in the air fryer was a winner because it saved on time but never took away the flavor. A definite keeper and Zack (Let’s Get Textual) would definitely approve!!! The last recipe I tried, but not the last one ever because like I said this cookbook is full of some amazing looking dishes/drinks, I made Mia Sheridan’s Iced Tea to wash down these great dishes. Again, as a southern gal we love our sweet tea and what I loved about this is the added mint. It gave it a different flavor that was delicious ( I also added extra lemon and strawberries you don’t have to but like I said before I did because I’m extra). Overall this cookbook is full of great ideas and I really hope this continues to be a thing throughout the romance community. Seeing authors come together and create masterpieces with Anthologies is great, but this takes it to a next level of awesomeness and the cover is gorgeous!! (Attached pictures of my dishes)

Filled with delicious recipes! I've read this from cover to cover and want to make everything in here! Unfortunately, I've only had time to make the pancakes, but they are the best pancakes I've ever made. I've read this from cover to cover and want to make everything in here! Unfortunately, I've only had time to make the pancakes, but they are the best pancakes I've ever made. What a great idea to make a cookbook out of recipes you can find in our favorite author's romance books. I absolutely enjoyed preparing and baking and eating :) I'll definitely check out more recipes than I already have, because this book contains recipes for all occasions. Appetizers, soups, main dishes, desserts, cocktails, bakery.... all in there! I totally recommend this book!! I kindly received an ARC and voluntarily left a review. Won a copy of this cookbook and while I have yet to have a chance to make anything, I already have my first 2 recipes picked out. Some of the recipes are pretty simple and possibly ones you have already made or know of. I do like that there are little excerpts from the authors book from which the recipe came from or explanations for each recipe. The tacos shown on the front sound amazing and I will definitely be trying those first, along with the tiramasu recipe for dessert.

It’s such an exciting new book. Something different from our romance books. We read so many books and we see our favorite characters cooking something or the other. Don’t we all love those scenes where our hero is cooking shirtless and our heroine stares or when our heroine is chopping vegetables and the hero comes in and hugs her from behind? Sometimes our mind wanders as to what exactly they are making and I’m delighted that these amazing authors have come together to bring us some of the orig It’s such an exciting new book. Sometimes our mind wanders as to what exactly they are making and I’m delighted that these amazing authors have come together to bring us some of the original recipes. They worked together with professional chefs and created unique and easy recipes for us. As someone who is not big on cooking, I found these recipes very easy to follow and make. There weren’t many tedious steps so I was able to understand better. Another good thing about the book was that the ingredients were the ones that are easily available. I had a lot of fun exploring various recipes and reading the excerpts attached to it. *ARC provided in exchange for a completely honest review.

Reading romance books and cooking are my two loves. This book is therefore, perfect for me! I enjoyed seeing each author’s contribution and could not wait to try out some of the recipes. In fact I made Jenika Snow’s mici and A.M. Hardgrove’s chocolate chip cookies. So good! I look forward to making others. I’m giving this book the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!

This is a great cookbook with a combination of authors and their recipes to share with the whole world. Each author put in a story from one of their books and added something delish for you to cook. From soups to deserts you will not be disappointed in this combination. Try your hand at a few new food items and see if yours taste just as good as theirs does in the book.
