A kind of boring "let's take each soon to be JL member and push forward" but wasn't feeling it. And the art was ehhhh A kind of boring "let's take each soon to be JL member and push forward" but wasn't feeling it. And the art was ehhhh

Overall a mixed bag of vignettes, which essentially all equate to "the JL is dead and we have to step up." Although, I never expected to see Nocturna so that was a nice callback. This is good but isn't really any required reading. If you've read Justice League #75 and/or the FCBD Dark Crisis issue, you've got the gist of the thing already. Not a bad beginning to a major event. I liked the Superman/Nightwing story and Flash story the most. It was nice to have some discussion about the common trope that these heroes may not really be dead as they always seem to come back. I am excited to get this event rolling and see what is in store.

I really enjoyed this even though some of it is very on the nose. The JL are dead, but this issue hints as we'd all except that they may aren't that dead. Loads of legacy characters stepping up to stop different villains. No huge surprises here just solid intros to a larger event. Excited for more! Wow Richard Greyson is a great friend and brother to have. The flashes help out The new aquaman and Hal Jordan team up. The artwork is incredible. The writing is outstanding.

This was good if you haven't been reading DC for a while, but I feel like those who have would be really bored. This was good if you haven't been reading DC for a while, but I feel like those who have would be really bored.

It's a beginning. Where it leads is anyone's guess. It's a beginning. Where it leads is anyone's guess.
